FootballComm LLC is a manufacturer of devices for football coaches and their coaching staffs that enables them to quickly and effectively communicate with one another during a game through a wireless sideline headset
system. Currently, the company purchases all of the headsets included in their systems from a China-based supplier, but they have experienced a significant decrease in overall headset quality. To correct the problem, the
company is considering producing their own headsets in-house. The company estimates that the transition will take place over 12 months. The system is expected to have an eight-year service life and produce savings
and expenditures given in the table below.
If the firm's MARR is 15%, use the NPW method to calculate the economic worth of producing the headsets in house.

AMH Inc. currently sells 1,148 Class A motor homes, 2,751 Class C motor homes, and 108,438 pop-
up trailers yearly. AMH is considering adding a mid-range camper and expects to sell 1,783 if
launched. However, if the new camper is added, AMH expects that its Class A sales will decline to
656 units while the Class C campers will decline to 1,750. The sales of pop-ups will not be affected.
Class A motor homes sell each for an average of $115,324. Class C homes are priced at $27,383, and
the pop-ups sell each for $4,678. The new mid-range camper will sell for $46,299. What is the cost
of erosion?

Odysseus is fascinated by Microsoft's new Surface Laptop Studio. He is happy to purchase this product at $2,200 but not likely to purchase
it at $2,201. This product is currently available at Microsoft Online Store at $1,900. It is believed that Microsoft had spent $1,100 per unit to
outsource its assembly to its supplier. This supplier will switch its production line towards Apple's iPad Pro if Microsoft does not guarantee at
least $950 per unit (which is the amount Apple guarantees). Let's assume that Microsoft produced only one unit of Surface Laptop Studio.
Odysseus purchased this product. Please fill in the blanks below:
What is Odysseus' willingness to pay?
What is Odysseus' surplus (consumer surplus)?
What is the total value captured by Microsoft?
What is supplier's opportunity cost?
What is the total value created by Microsoft?
