The substances that are exchanged between bacteria and leguminous plants inside the nodules and between fungi and plants in mycorrhizal associations.

Introduction:

Some organisms live very close to each other in symbiotic relationships. In this type, either one or both the organisms benefit from the association. Mutualism is a type of symbiotic relationship in which both the organisms that live together are equal beneficiaries. Mycorrhizae refer to the association present between the roots of the plant and fungi while leguminous plants form the symbiotic associations.
