Why Students Shouldn T Have Homework Research Paper

The amount of homework given to students should decrease. The extensive amount of homework takes away family time that is necessary to child development. Also, stress that can can come with homework can cause health issues. The amount of homework given to students can cause students to cheat off students answers because they did not finish. Also, most of the homework that is assigned is not necessary in learning the material.

Students should not have homework because teachers have seven hours in the day to teach in the day that should be plenty of time to teach us in the day for whatever we need to learn and homework gets in the way of people’s sports. Shopping at the mall and hanging out with friends is much more important than doing homework. Why are students required to do homework anyway? It’s a waste of time so they should not be required to do homework. Homework is causing stress, which is resulting in students spending less quality time with their families as well as with their friends. It is also causing students to feel burned out and to not be engaged with school as they should be. Even though students need to learn how to manage their time more effectively, including budgeting time to complete homework assignments, they should not be required to do homework. I believe that teachers shouldn't have more rule over helping children do their homework than their parents or guardians.My reasons are parents have the ability to help the kid with emotion. Wouldn’t it be nice if you could get home, study a little, and just relax? Well most students have to deal with hours of homework when they get home from school. When I get home, I would rather do a little homework, relax, and spend time with my family. Not spend the rest of the day doing homework, when you already have 7 hours of school. The first reason students should not be given homework is that with extra curricular activities like sports or clubs, there is no time for homework. One may have to wake up at 5:30, go to school until 2:55, then go to practice until 7:30. Then they must eat, do homework, and shower. By the time everything is done, it is 10:00. I think that grade 8 students shouldn't have homework. Homework can negatively affect students' health as it causes exhaustion, stress, depression, and lack of sleep. Always doing homework can minimum family time and less time for sports and after school activities. Many kids around the world think that schools should ban homework. I think that homework is not benifical for students who don’t need it. Why? One, sometimes not necassary homework can cause stress on kids wich could lead to health issuses. Two, when homework isn’t benifical for students it takes away time from other important things.

Just imagine if you had to go to work all day, then come home and go to work again until two in the morning. How effective would that make you in the morning? You would simply just be distressed and unable to work the whole next day and then before you know it you have to stay up and work until two in the morning again. Now relate that to kids and homework, when they have to stay up and do it after a long day that they already had. And after other activities that students have had they don't have time to do that much homework.

I am going against homework because I don't think homework is good for students. First of all, homework is just adding to the schoolwork that you just did in school. If you add up the schoolwork and the homework that's like 7-9 hours of work in all for 5 days. Once you get that extra homework you will be tired, stressed, won't have much time with your family and it could be totally useless. Next your relatives could do it for you because you could persuade them to do it for you or they might realize how stressed out you are and do it for you. Finally homework can just be useless you could no inside and out stuck in there forever but you still have to do homework.

Most studenst have activities outside of school. These activities take up a lot of time witch mean they eat dinner and start homework latter.
