MY DIARY
6.4.3 (SECOND EXAMPLE)
Today in literacy time Miss B asked me to support student M. It was my first time that I was responsible for a student.
L. O. I can write our shared story. I sat next to M and I asked her please tell me your sentence before writing. I told her because she knows the story and has her idea but when she wants to write she lost the words and forget all of them also she is not be able to finish her story on time.
She started to write and she followed my instruction. I supported her in spelling and punctuation as well and I always reminded her capital letter after full stop. After 35 minutes she was

During doing activity student A started to play and chatting to other students. A few times I asked him to stop and concentrate on her sheet but he didn’t listen. It was near lunch time and I told him you should finish and hand it to me. I asked him Would you like to finish it on time or come back on your lunch time. He said “oh no Mrs. F I like to finish it on time I don’t want to lose my play time.” I said “OK then please don’t disturb your classmates and focus on your sheet and if you need help please tell me.
9.2.2
After lunch Miss B asked me to help all students to get ready for PE. When all students changed their clothes I asked them to line up. Some of students pushed each other and there was a gap between them. First, I put them in a line order, so that friends were not near each other, and the sneaky kids were in the middle of the line. If they have no one to talk to they can’t say much!
Second, I told them you should pretend that you are soldiers. I explained to them that soldiers stand up tall with their hands to the sides and their lips are zipped. They all laughed and started to stand like a soldier. I used these two techniques to encourage them lining up
1. Weather is the current state of the atmosphere. Climate is the long-term weather conditions for an area or region. Some examples of weather will be tornadoes, hurricanes and flooding. When it comes to climate common examples will be tropical, polar, marine, and Mediterranean. The difference between weather and climate is that climate is a long-term weather. We can say that climate is like the “official” weather of the region or country. For example, in Dominican Republic, our climate is tropical. On the other hand, weather is the current situation on the region or country.
Prior to the development of DNA technology and the sequencing of organismal genomes, Charles Darwin suggested that the “tree” of life can be traced back to a single root (Koonin and Wolf, 2012). While Darwin’s theory was primitive, it laid the groundwork for the phylogenetic trees that are currently studied in science classrooms around the world. The three-domain tree, containing Eukarya, Archea, and Bacteria, soon became too simplistic due to the realization that some bacteria possessed the ability to exchange genetic information by horizontal gene transfer (Koonin and Wolf, 2012).

Wireless Routers is a wireless local area network (WLAN) that determine the next route of the packet should travel to the destination (Rouse, 2005). It converts the internet connection that was received from phone lines into radio signals and brings convenience to the portability devices that has built-in network card to gain the radio signals to get to the Internet connection (Switcher, 2015). Table 2 refers to the comparison of three models of wireless router.
Taking on the role as a teacher puts me in a leadership role. I chose for my artifact the ESO online training from Mr. Moss, EDEE 4330 Math class. Math seems to be the subject across the board most people is afraid of, but the ESO training provided fatal information for student’s success. I understand that I am responsible for setting an example for my students that I would be proud of them to emulate. I would love for my students to follow in my footprints and make a difference in others’ lives. It has been said, “it takes a village to raise a child”, and I know that I can be most effective when I reach out to families, colleagues, and the community, to employ the approach. It takes all that to raise well-adjusted productive members of our community, being it locally or
They should work together in order to make the messages clear. There should not be jargons or technical language to avoid confusion. The message should be purposeful, accurate and precise.
Marina approaches learning situations with a positive attitude especially in writing. She has shown great improvement in reading and writing this term. Marina is able to communicate her ideas and feelings from experiences through her writing and illustrations. An example of this can be seen in her end of the month writing. She wrote, “If they have 6 legs and 3 body parts they are insects like a grasshopper”. Marina also drew a picture of a grasshopper and labeled all the body parts using the scientific terms. She often takes the institutive to write at home and bring it in to share with others. At home she wrote about the Blackfoot used the buffalo and diary of a butterfly. Marina is able to independently write about different topics and stay
The information that would have been beneficial to Sara includes, having communication with various teacher and support staff and analyzing and assessing the ABC’s of Lenny’s behavior. Also, taking in consideration the cultural background of the student may have allowed Sara to take a different approach when contacting parents avoiding misunderstandings.
I arrived to the classroom at about 8:50 AM and left at 10:00 AM. When I arrived to the classroom the children, the teacher and her assistant were sitting in the table playing with baby dolls. They were using the baby dolls to show the children the different parts of the body. Soon after, they moved to the carpet for circle time. Teacher Dayana and her assistant welcomed each child by his or her name. They welcomed the children both on English and in Spanish. They prosside by singing English and Spanish songs including,”Buenos dias (good morning)”, “The wheels in the bus go round and round”, “Days of the week”, and “Pin Pon es un muñeco”. While they were singing two of the children graved toy pianos and played them. Once circle time was over the teacher assistant started to take the children one by one to wash their hands. They all moved to the table where breakfast was waiting for them. The students and the children all ate together. Throughout the entire time the teacher and the assistant try to keep an open conversation with the children. Once everyone was finished having breakfast the teacher instructed the children to clean after themselves. They all seemed to know what to do as they placed their plates on a container and used napkins to clean the table. After they were finish cleaning the children return to the carpet where each child grabbed a book. Each book had words and the picture of the word. For the last
I walked into Mr. Buzard’s classroom today and visited with the students until the bell rang. Mr. Buzard arrived a few minutes after. Since he was absent on Tuesday, the students had their assignment to turn in. One particular student keep coming back to ask Mr. Buzard a question about it. I could tell he was trying to bug Mr. Buzard with questions. My cooperating teacher told him to just go sit down and he would tell the whole class instead of having to repeat himself.
While observing my second five hours, the classroom does not always run smoothly, 2ND grade students may not always see eye to eye. After finishing their math lesson for the day and putting away their materials and getting ready for math, Mrs. Ryan asked three students to please collect their whiteboards from their group and put them back where they belong. As each student did as they were told to do so, a boy placed the whiteboards how he thought they should look. However, a girl walked over with her groups and corrected the way they were. He yelled at the girl and told her to sit down and get away from the boards. She ran away in tears and sat down at her desk. As Mrs. Ryan realized what was happening she took order of her classroom and pulled
Your students were started out loud and very talkative at first. In 3rd hour (Current Events), Lily Summers and Morgan Frye were absent. Morgan was absent due to State Track meet. We read the “Paddle Battle” and then discussed the article. After a very good discussion, they realize how the “corporal punishment” was semi real. That open some eyes up. We talked about why some teachers hand out detention and ISS, and about giving respect to teachers. In 4th hour (Science), Lily Summers was absent; and Morgan Frye due to Track. The students behave well. They took the test and then we worked on watched the whole movie about the moon. Lily did not get to do the test. In 5th hour (study hall), Morgan Frye was absent (Track). The students were loud and chatty. I had to gave the whole class warnings a few times. In 6th Hour (World History), Morgan Frye was absent (Track). They students worked on the study guide. I had a student from the HS side that needed talked to. She is going through a personal rough day and asked to talk with me to lift up her spirits. So, I
Since the beginning of the school year, Krystal has been attending Aspire Learning Center every weekday for three and a half hours every day. Krystal’s grade level may be proficient in some areas at school, but that is not the case in all subjects. Her mother hopes that she is able to excel academically, thus, she signed her up to receive extra help in her studies. Being well the well-behaved student she is, Krystal often does what she is asked to do, without any complaints. At Aspire Learning Center, we hope to help Krystal succeed and thrive at school, as it is clearly revealed with Krystal’s improvement and dedication. She often gets carried away while reading books, being that it is something that she enjoys doing. We assist her with homework,
Today my heart was over joyed as I left Anaselie. She was in a much better mood this week. When I first got to her class the first thing I noticed there was a sub today, the sub asked for help with the presentation she was to show to the class today, while the girl who also meets at her book buddy was helping the sub. I walked around the classroom, looking at what the students were working on. They were labeling different things you would find in the classroom; all the students had finished labeling and were coloring. Except Anaselie, she was coloring but her labeling was not legible at all. It looked like scribbles. This hurt my heart a little bit; I just don’t understand why a parent would neglect their child’s education. This is something
An appropriate strategy to differentiate instruction for ‘Student A’ is by allowing a para to come into the classroom and having the para work as the student’s scribe. This has actually been tested with the student and the result was a success. “Student A’ is able to verbalize what she wants her writing to include and the para writes these ideas down for her. With the Nebraska State Writing Assessment approaching this week, this method has been decided upon as the method that will help the student to be most successful during the reserved writing days.
