Why You Shouldn T Do Homework Research

Why do kids actually hate homework? The reason that they hate homework is because they already do work at school and are still given work to do at home. Kids need less homework in order to have more time to study, take care of their needs, and have more free time. Having less homework gives them a chance to do all that and be more creative by focusing on other things besides school work.

Have you ever wanted to just shred up your homework or throw it out the window and have no consequences? Kids are assigned daily homework from the time they start kindergarten at the ripe young age of five. Is it really necessary? Does it even help better learning or even higher test scores? The amount of homework we do wastes time, money, paper, and trees because it’s practically the exact same thing we did in class that day. Homework causes kid’s and teen’s frustration, tiredness, little time for other activities and possibly even a loss of interest in their education. After a long day of school, students are tired, stressed, and overworked. This is often something that is ignored when it comes to students of all ages. Homework provides a heavy load that can add additional stress and time on a student’s shoulders. Schools should be making sure that students are receiving enough work throughout the day, to make sure kids do not have the worry of homework when school is over. Students who receive lots of homework, may not have enough time in the evenings to be around family, friends and enjoy the rest of their day.

Studies show that homework can cause sleep loss and other health problems. In Ontario, schools teachers should not be allowed to assign homework to students because kids are busy doing sports or other events. Also, parents want to see their kids after school. Another reason is kids are tired and might stay up late trying to finish.

You are tired and exhausted sometimes. You may have other things to do at home. You sometimes are so exhausted and don't feel like doing anything. Due to lack of time, it is not unusual for students to go from one subject to the next, when having so much work to complete. This being said, the more time an energy that students put forth on assignments the less sleep they are able to get in return resulting in less time and energy throughout each of their classes. This being said it is more than easy to loose focus on the true point of homework, to reinforce learning, and instead work to get it all finished even if it is not to the best

One side of the argument is that people believe that homework doesn’t help students. 4 in 10 parents say that most homework is just busy work. If you are wondering,not a single study has ever supported the folk wisdom that homework teachers good work habits or develops positive character traits such as self-discipline, responsibility or independence. I understand that going to school for eight hours is awful and then having to come home and do more homework just doesn’t seem fair but you have to remember that it is for a good cause and it will help you better understand what you learn. The best advice I could give you is to do everything ahead of time don’t wait until the last minute to type and essay or study for a test you knew about a week in advance. The best thing you can do is as soon as you get home do all your homework. It is better trust me. When you wait until 9:30 that night to do all your homework you will be tired and you will not put your full effort into what you are doing. Finishing something early will make room for other activities. If you are assigned a worksheet on Monday but it is not due until Friday and you decide to wait until Thursday to do it, what if in another class you get assigned work and it is due the next day. If you would have done the worksheet when it was first assigned then you wouldn’t have to worry about having to rush and have extra work. We’ve all been there, get home and start that night’s homework right away. I work for two hours and it’s time for dinner so I take a 30 minute break and then resume homework.
