They could use the employment-at-will doctrine as an outcome of the person whistleblowing putting the doctor or the hospital in a point to lose cash. Dr. DoRight has recently been hired as the President of the "Universal Human Care Hospital", where he oversees all departments with over 5,000 employees and over 20,000 patients at the medical facility. Dr. DoRight discovers that some patients within the hospital have been dying as a result of a variety of illegal procedures by doctors and nurses, and negligent supervision and oversight on their part. After two years, there have been no results from the investigation and some patients are still passing away due to the negligent activities. In this research paper I will discuss what Dr. DoRight, of Universal Human Care Hospital will do when he discovers that patients within the hospital have been dying as a result of a variety of illegal procedures by doctors and nurses and negligent supervision and oversight on their part.
This paper explores the importance of professionalism, ethical standards, professional conduct, and the importance of each in the health care system. These roles can have a positive or negative effect, or become determining factors for patients or individuals when choosing a health care facility. As the top administration of Well Care Hospital, it is my duty and role to ensure all staff members are conducting themselves in a professional and ethical manner, and following policy and procedures regarding patient’s and their medical information. Reek’s Bistro will focus on Mediterranean cuisine in an American style restaurant environment. An emphasis will be on natural foods that taste good and are good for you. The restaurant will procure locally grown produce, while offering additional services and products, such as catering and Reek’s Bistro brand items sold in grocery stores.
Dexit Inc. is a business that focuses on electronic payment systems for retail transactions. The nature of the business would start with purchases and tinkle down to petty cash purchases, pre paid purchases, and electronic purchases (Exhibit 1) .The Dexit platforms run on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. Consumers would use their “tags” at a retailer store’s terminal. This terminal is linked to Dexit’s server which would be able to read the “tag”. From here the server will be able to go into the consumer’s prepaid account, which would limit the consumer’s sending to the amount within the account. At Well Care Hospital we strive to provide the best care possible and aim to set the bar when it comes to the way we interact and conduct ourselves from top to bottom of this hospital. In order to achieve this goal we must be aware of the health care laws and policies that exist, so that we can not only be in compliance, but exceed the standard. We also need to have set plans and committees set in place in order to achieve professional conduct throughout the hospital, educate our staff on the ethics of this hospital, and set in place governing boards that review and apply the rules Well Care Hospital has set up to protect our patients from medical negligence.
Other paintings of guinguettes, such as “Elena et Les Hommes” by Renoir, provide a sense of light-hearted summer days. We want to replicate this feeling in accordance with Marcel’s original restaurant concept by incorporating all of the definitions of a guinguette.
The People's Hospital applies corporate governance in the management of the company. The management and employees of The People's Hospital are guided by set values that determine the ethics and integrity of each employee. Moreover, the values of the hospital are used in the determination of the corporate governance in recognizing the responsibilities of patients, employees, shareholders and the community at large. Excellent corporate governance results from the cohesive coordination of resources and responsibilities among all entities of an organization. Commitment of the Chief Executive Officer of the hospital to this objective, in support of all directors/administrators, shareholders of the hospital results in good governance. However, my father's health was compromised at People's Hospital, a factor that questioned the adherence to corporate governance. My father was given wrong medication that worsened his health state and complicated his recovery process.
