Question
Chapter 24.2, Problem 1MI
Summary Introduction
The protists belong to the members of kingdom Protista. It is generally made up of all single-celled, or unicellular organisms. Protists can be classified depending on their size, nature, shape, and number of cytoplasmic organelles, nuclear structure, presence of ecto or endoskeleton structures and so on. Amoebas, plasmodium, euglena, algae, and slime molds are examples of protists.

Protists are a group of eukaryotic organisms that are brought together by scientists mostly by convenience. I) What is the relationship between all protists that ties them together? ii) provide an example of a autotrophic and heterotrophic protists group, iii) what is the relationship between the multicellular eukaryotes and the protists?
What supergroup is Gracilaria in? Is this protist prokaryotic or eukaryotic?
