To discuss: The aspect of capitalism, which Person X appreciates personally and the one that is troublesome.
Explanation of Solution
Few significant aspects of capitalism includes the factors of production, private property, competition, and capital accumulation.
The competition is an important attribute of capitalist system. The private businesses compete in order to give consumers with the goods and services, which are faster, better, and cheaper. The principle of competition forces the businesses to expand the efficiency and provide their products at the lowest prices that the market will bear. Thus, Person X appreciates the competition aspect of capitalism.
According to Person X, the citizens cannot able to accumulate the capital if they are not permitted to own anything. Until the owner stays inside the constraints of law, an individual can do anything with the property that he owns. The private citizen might buy the property from the other private citizen at a price, which is agreed upon mutually and not dictated by the government.
In the capitalist system, the market forces the demand and supply, instead of the central governing body it establishes the prices at the purchase and selling price of the property. Thus, this is the troublesome aspect as per Person X.
