Therefore, the number of molecules of gases N2, O2 and NO2 is equal to 6.022×1023. At STP, one mole of every gas occupies a volume equal to 22.4L which is known as the molar volume of the gas. Therefore, the volume of the gases N2, O2 and NO2 is equal to 22.4L.

The mass of N2 molecule is calculated as shown below.

Substitute the values of number of atoms of N and mass of 1N atom in the above expression.

Substitute the values of number of atoms and mass of 1 atom of nitrogen and oxygen in the above expression.
