Concept Introduction:World markets have been classified into three categories viz: developed, emerging and frontier. A developedeconomy is stable, regulated and has high economic growth indices.

The markets which are not yet, fully in this category but are in the process of becoming a developed market in the near future are the emerging markets.

Frontier markets include countries which are also developing, but are yet to reach the ‘emerging ststus’ by virtue of risk, liquidity, size etc.
