Celsius Temperature Table
The formula for converting a temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius is
where F is the Fahrenheit temperature and C is the Celsius temperature. Write a method named celsius that accepts a Fahrenheit temperature as an argument. The method should return the temperature, converted to Cetsius. Demonstrate the method by calling it in a loop that displays a table of the Fahrenheit temperatures 0 through 20 and their Celsius equivalents.

- Retail price calculator Write a program that asks the user to enter an item’s wholesale cost and its markup percentage. It should then display the item’s retail price. For example: • If an item’s wholesale cost is 5.00 and its markup percentage is 100 percent, then the item’s retail price is 10.00.• If an item’s wholesale cost is 5.00 and its markup percentage is 50 percent, then the item’s retail price is 7.50. The program should have a method named calculateRetail that receives the wholesale cost and the markup percentage as arguments and returns the retail price of the item.arrow_forward6.17 LAB: Max magnitude Write a method maxMagnitude() with two integer input parameters that returns the largest magnitude value. Use the method in a program that takes two integer inputs, and outputs the largest magnitude value. Ex: If the inputs are: 5 7 the method returns: 7 Ex: If the inputs are: -8 -2 the method returns: -8 Note: The method does not just return the largest value, which for -8 -2 would be -2. Though not necessary, you may use the absolute-value built-in math method. Your program must define and call a method:public static int maxMagnitude(int userVal1, int userVal2) tested with 5,7 -8,-2, 25,-50 import java.util.Scanner; public class LabProgram { public static void main(String[] args) { Scanner input = new…arrow_forward15-5. Refactoring: The fill_walk() method is lengthy. Create a new method called get_step() to determine the direction and distance for each step, and then calculate the step. You should end up with two calls to get_step() in fill_walk(): x_step = self.get_step()y_step = self.get_step() This refactoring should reduce the size of fill_walk() and make the method easier to read and understand. Do this in the RandomWalk1 class. No need to turn in a program called 15-5, just have the refactored code in your random_walk.py file. 15-6. Two D8s: Create a simulation showing what happens when you roll two eight-sided dice 1000 times. Try to picture what you think the visualization will look like before you run the simulation; then see if your intuition was correct. Gradually increase the number of rolls until you start to see the limits of your system’s capabilities. Adjust comments, labels and file names for the new program. Start with die_visual_4.py.arrow_forward
- The program must include two classesclGradesGraph and GradesGrapghDemo. GradesGraphDemo (one method)- Main method only GradesGraph- Include at least 4 methods (No credits without at least 4 methods!!!) Create a class that represents the grade distribution for a given course. In this class you should write methods to perform the following tasks: Read the number of each of the letter grades A, B, C D and F Set the number of letter grades A, B, C, D and F Return the total number of grades Return the percentage of each letter grade as a whole number between 0 and 100 inclusive Draw a bar graph of the grade distributionThe graph should have five bars, one per grade. Each bar can be a horizontal row of asterisks, such that the number of asterisks in a row is proportionate to the percentage of grades in each category. For example, let on asterisk represent 2%, so 50 asterisks correspond to 100%. Mark the horizontal axis at 10% increments from 0 to 100% and label each line with a letter…arrow_forwardJava Your program will read in a credit card number and expiration date from the user and validate the data. The program will continue to ask for user input until a valid number and date are entered. The rules for what is valid are specified below. readYear() and readMonth(int) methods Complete the readYear() and readMonth(int) methods. These methods ask the user to input the expiration year and month of their credit card. Each method should contain a loop inside the method so the code repeats until a valid month or year is entered by the user. If the user enters an invalid year or month, print an error message and ask them to try again. The readMonth(int) method reads in the month as a number. A valid month is any number between 1 and 12 (inclusive). A valid year is 2022 or later. readCreditCardNumber() method Complete the readCreditCardNumber() method. This method asks the user to input their credit card number. This method should contain a loop so the code repeats until a valid…arrow_forward(Intro to Java) Avoid using breaks in loops or statments. Ice Cream Truck In this program, you will write a menu program for an ice cream truck. Name your program IceCream.java For this program, you will need to write 3 methods, as follows: dispayTotal Takes a double parameter for the total food price. Takes another double parameter for the percent tip calls the calculateTax method to add taxes to the price. calls the calculateTip method to add the tip to the price. Displays the price to two decimal places along with the message "With taxes and tip, your total comes to $<price>" returns nothing Note that you will need to watch the 16 videos before you can complete this method calculateTax Takes in a double parameter for the subtotal for the food. Calculates the tax, assuming the tax rate is 9.25% in San Jose adds the tax onto the the total price, returns the update price calculateTip Takes in a double parameter for the current bill (price of food + tax). Takes in…arrow_forward
- Methods with an empty parameter list and do not return a value: [Questions 1-8 required] You invoke a method by its name followed by a pair of brackets and the usual semi-colon Write a method called DisplayPersonalInfo(). This method will display your name, school, program and your favorite course. Call the DisplayPersonalInfo() method from your program Main() method Write a method called CalculateTuition(). This method will prompt the user for the number of courses that she is currently taking and then calculate and display the tuition cost. (cost = number of course * 569.99). Call the CalculateTuition() method two times from the same Main() method as in question 1. Write a method call CalculateAreaOfCircle(). This method will prompt the user for the radius of a circle and then calculate and display the area.[A = πr2].Call the CalculateAreaOfCircle() method twice from the same Main() method as in question 1. Here is a working code but please fix it so it will in Hypergrade which as all the test casses. I DO NOT NEED THANK YOU IN THE PROGRAM. IT HAS TO PASS ALL THE TEST CASSES PLEASE. THANK YOU!!!!!: import java.util.Scanner;public class PrimeNumberList { // Method to check if a number is prime public static boolean isPrime(int num) { if (num <= 1) { return false; } for (int i = 2; i <= Math.sqrt(num); i++) { if (num % i == 0) { return false; } } return true; } public static void main(String[] args) { Scanner scanner = new Scanner(System.in); // Prompt the user to enter a number System.out.print("Enter a number: \n");…arrow_forward15. Even/Odd CounterYou can use the following logic to determine whether a number is even or odd: if ((number % 2) == 0){ // The number is even.}else{ // The number is odd.}Write a program with a method named isEven that accepts an int argument. The method should return true if the argument is even, or false otherwise. The program’s main method should use a loop to generate 100 random integers. It should use the isEven method to determine whether each random number is even, or odd. When the loop is finished, the program should display the number of even numbers that were generated, and the number of odd numbers.arrow_forward

It should then display the items retail price. For example: If an item's wholesale cost is $5.00 and its markup percentage is 100 percent, then the item's retail price is $10. If an item's wholesale cost is $5.00 and its markup percentage is 50 percent, then the item's retail price is $7.50. The program should have a method named CalculateRetail that receives the wholesale cost and the markup percentage as arguments and returns the retail price of the item. In addition, there should be the name of the Wholesale Company displayed (be creative). If the cost is over $500, display a $20 discount on the retail price. For example: If an item's wholesale cost is $600.00 and its markup percentage is 100 percent, then the item's retail price is $1,180. ( Markup = $600 * 100% = 600 Retail Price = $600 + $600 - $20 (wholesale cost + markup - discount)arrow_forward
