Introduction:
The endodermal layer in plants is found predominantly in roots which helps in regulating water and other substances. It is a single layered cell that borders the cortex of root.
The intestines of animals are composed of four main layers-mucosa epithelium, submucosa, muscularis and outer protective serosa. The intestinal has goblet cells and absorptive cells as well.
