- Tip, Tax, and Total Create an application that lets the user enter the food charge for a meal at a restaurant. When a button is clicked, the application should calculate and display the amount of a 15 percent tip, 7 percent sales tax, and the total of all three amounts.arrow_forwardKinetic Energy In physics, an object that is in motion is said to have kinetic energy. The following formula can be used to determine a moving object’s kinetic energy: KE =1/2mv2 In the formula KE is the kinetic energy, m is the object’s mass in kilograms, and v is the object’s velocity in meters per second. Create an application that allows the user to enter an object’s mass and velocity and then displays the object’s kinetic energy. The application should have a method named KineticEnergy that accepts an object’s mass (in kilograms) and velocity (in meters per second) as arguments. The method should return the amount of kinetic energy that the object has.arrow_forwardTEMPERATURE CONVERTER WEBSITE The user will input a temperature in either Fahrenheit or Celsius and press a "convert" button. The converted temperature will then be displayed with the correct unit. Your Ul should include four main elements: Input field for the user to type in their temperature - don't forget to validate that the input is a number! Dropdown menu or radio button for the user to choose if they are inputting in Celsius or Fahrenheit "Convert" button to trigger the temperature conversion Display area for the final converted temperature and unit For an extra challenge: You can add in a third conversion option to convert from and to Kelvin as well. please Don't Copy from internetarrow_forward
- Assuming there are no accidents or delays, the distance that a car travels down an interstate highway can be calculated with the following formula: Distance = Speed × TimeCreate an application that allows the user to enter a car’s speed in miles per hour. The application should have buttons that display the following:• The distance the car will travel in 5 hours• The distance the car will travel in 8 hours• The distance the car will travel in 12 hoursarrow_forwardJAVA A university has the following dormitories: Allen Hall: $1,500 per semester Pike Hall: $1,600 per semester Farthing Hall: $1,200 per semester University Suites: $1,800 per semester The university also offers the following meal plan: 7 meals per week: $560 per semester 14 meals per week: $1,095 per semester Unlimited meals: $1,500 per semester Create an application with two combo boxes. One should hold the names of the dormitories, and the other should hold the meal plans. The user should select a dormitory and a meal plan, and the application should show the total charges for the semester.arrow_forwardAs with other controls, a control's attribute determines whether or not the control is shown on the form during runtime.arrow_forward
- Falling Distance When an object is falling because of gravity, the following formula can be used to determine the distance the object falls in a specific time period: d =1/2gt2 The variables in the formula are as follows: d is the distance in meters, g is 9.8, and t is the amount of time in seconds that the object has been falling. Create an application that allows the user to enter the amount of time that an object has fallen and then displays the distance that the object fell. The application should have a method named FallingDistance. The FallingDistance method should accept an object’s falling time (in seconds) as an argument. The method should return the distance in meters that the object has fallen during that time interval.arrow_forwardSimilar to other controls, a control's attribute affects whether or not it appears on the form during runtime.arrow_forwardAs with other controls, a control's attribute determines whether or not it is shown on the form during runtime.arrow_forward
- Like other controls, the attribute of a control may change how it appears in a form at runtime.arrow_forwardTrue or False To close an application’s form in code, you use the statement Close.This();arrow_forwardMost controls have properties that determine their visibility at runtime, and these properties can be found in most controls.arrow_forward
