Introduction:
Sound waves travel through three basic medium such as solid, liquid or gas. The solid molecules are packed together closely; the liquids are not packed as tightly as the solids;they are packed in gasses very loose.
The molecular spacing allows the sound waves to move through solid much faster than in air.For this reason, sound can’t travel through empty space as it does not contain any molecules to vibrate.
