Chapter I
Introduction
I. Statement of the Problem and its Background
Information Technology is the area of managing technology that spans a wide variety of areas that include computer software, information systems, computer hardware, programming languages and are not limited to things such as processes, and data constructs.
Anything that renders data, information or perceived knowledge in any visual format whatsoever, via any multimedia distribution mechanism, is considered part of the IT domain. IT had already crept in every nook and crannies of our lives, from e-commerce up to mobile banking and social networking sites and indeed information technology is an undisputable part of our social and economical life today.

It is a Web application framework developed and marketed by Microsoft to allow programmers to build dynamic Web sites, Web applications and Web services.
Carrier. It is a service provider of telecommunications services such as telephony and data communications access.
Flow Chart. It is a type of diagram that represents an algorithm or process, showing the steps as boxes of various kinds, and their order by connecting these with arrows.
Information System. It is any combination of information technology and people's activities that support operations, management, and decision making
Information Technology. It is concerned with technology to treat information. The acquisition, processing, storage and dissemination of vocal, pictorial, textual and numerical information by a microelectronics-based combination of computing and telecommunications are its main fields
Innovation. Innovation is the creation of better or more effective products, processes, services, technologies, or ideas that are accepted by markets, governments, and society.
Input. Input is the term denoting either an entrance or changes which are inserted into a system and which activate/modify a process. It is an abstract concept, used in the modeling, system(s) design and system(s) exploitation
Inventory. Inventory means a list compiled for some formal purpose, such as the details of an estate going to probate, or the contents of a house let furnished.

I would define innovation as the ability to apply this creative thinking to an existing product, solution or approach that improves the outcome of a solution to a problem or usefulness of a product. Innovation is the ability to put creative thoughts to use in a way that is beneficial to a person, product, object, problem or situation. .
Information Technology (IT) refers only to the information processing software programs of a computer system: True or False
Innovation: An initiative, practice, or objective that is modern by individual or other elements of acceptance (Rogers, 2003).
Information systems (IS), technically are a set of interrelated components that collect and retrieve information, process and store it and support the organization in decision making. Information Technology (IT) is a shared technology and provides the platform for specific information. It consists of hardware and software for a business to achieve their objectives. Included is the computer systems, the computer, any hand-held devices, software the company needs to operate and storage. (20)
A flowchart is a diagram that depicts the “flow” of a program. It contains symbols that represent each step in the program (Pearson Education, 2012). It has 4 general structures:
This aim of this document was to provide a summary and definition of the concept of Information Systems and contrast the subject against Information Technology. As part of this I have defined systems and I then have offered some brief commentary on how IS has changed over the last hundred years or so.
An example of inventory is the liquor inventory at a bar. Managers at a bar track their inventory by comparing the number of drinks sold by how much liquor is left in the bottles at the end of the day. By looking at receipts from customers orders and
Innovation is either a new idea a more effective device or a more efficinet process. Innovation is viewed as an application of better solutions that can meet new needs, requirement, or currently existing market needs. This can be accomplished through more streamlined procedures and processes.
Information Technology is the study or use of systems (especially computers and telecommunications) for storing, retrieving, and sending information. The word Information Technology was first coined by authors Harold J. Leavitt and Thomas L. Whisler in an article for Harvard Business Review in 1958, quoting “The new technology does not yet have a single established name; we shall call it Information Technology”. Their definition consists of three categories - techniques for processing, the application of statistical and mathematical methods for decision making, and the simulation of higher order thinking through computer programs.

Information and communication technology is a term that incorporates devices or applications in which we use and manipulate. Such devices include, but are not limited to, the internet, television, social media, blogs and microblogs, software and hardware, cell phones, Web 2.0, or any other technology that can be used
An information system is any combination of information technology or support people’s activities that support
Information Technology (IT): The hardware and software technologies a firm needs to achieve its business objectives (Kenneth C Laudon and Jane P Laudon., 2010).
It definition of information technology, its use purpose, scope, and different levels have different interpretations. Information technology contains communications, computer language, electronic technology optical fiber technology. It also may affect computer and its interaction with people, machines, and people appropriate social, economic and culture unite things.
An Information system may be defined as a collection of Technological and Human resources which together collect, store, manage, interpret, and draw inferences from the data supplied to them. Today, almost every
