Initially, in the organisational level we will be identifying the current goals of the North Australia Hospital and where they want to head in the future. We will also need to identify what the knowledge, skills and attributes of the hospital are as well as what skills they need for the future.
Secondly, in the operational level we will identify the responsibility each team leader and team member has; what their job descriptions are and how they were addressed to each employee. We will analyse each employee’s specified tasks they need to complete during their work hours. Performance standards are a very important part of an organization. We need to know if each employee is up to the organizations performance standards.
Last of all, in the individual level we will need to identify the gaps in individuals. We will need to know all knowledge, skills and attributes (KSA’s) required in a job and what the task analysis of key job tasks are. That is the general analysis of tasks crucial to job performance, targets and objectives. We will also need to know if there a general problem with the staff. Such as, do they have difficulties writing, reading, spelling and so forth. Also a competency based analysis is useful as well. This will help us see the capabilities of all staff and they key areas of need.

The sector, health, that I have chosen includes a variety of people from ranging from elderly too adult too teenagers, children and baby’s. A hospital is a health care institution which provide treatment for many diseases and conditions.
Throughout this course I have learned about the various challenges that impede productivity and efficiency at today’s hospitals. These issues facing the modern healthcare organization come in varying forms from technological, staffing, and financial to name a few. There are no limits to what hospitals can face in these modern technologically savvy times. Below are the major issues that today’s hospitals are facing, though there are many facets to these topics it will be described as best as possible to meet overall challenges:

One stage in the management of performance system is when managers evaluate employees’ performances and provide them with feedbacks. One of the purposes of this stage is to identify employees’ strengths and weaknesses. As a result, managers should be able to identify performance and training gaps.
3. Job analysis is the next step to consider the skills necessary for employees by job functions. To achieve the job analysis process one must consider the skills necessary for employees’ separated by job title or function. Employees can understand what the vital aspects of their jobs are by analyzing the entire job function and process. This process should include an explanation of primary job functions, how to produce them, and who is responsible for all parts, and the qualifications needed for all steps. Defining the key duties of each job function will benchmark all key elements to determine a systematic process. What is a training program? A training program are programs created for teaching employees in particular skills. Employee training is an essential in maintaining a great staff and keeping everyone communicating. Having a training program that is well created to establish and achieve maximum results.
