1.0 Introduction Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has infused into education field since the past few years and brought new shifts to teaching and learning process by introducing a new concept known as 'e-learning'. Over the past decades, the world of education has been improved from day to day by the fast and rapid revolution of ICT which eventually raises the demands for online learning or e-learning. E-learning is well defined as a learning process that fully utilises electronic technologies to access educational curriculum outside of the classroom and it is well known for distance learning. This kind of learning allows learners to continuously learning outside of the traditional classroom with their own control, pace and time. In simpler explanation, e-learning is a course or program that is delivered online. According to Wang (2010), online learning or e-learning has been widely used in higher education, and a large amount of studies have been conducted to explore both of its strengths and weaknesses. The ultimate goal of blended learning is to compensate the drawbacks of pure online learning or instruction. According to Azizan (2010), it is highly recommended for educators to implement blended learning in their teaching practices as it is better to mix the strengths of both e-learning and traditional learning in order to optimise the benefits gained by the students. In regard of that belief, the popularity of blended learning has rapidly risen because most instructors have strong beliefs that mixed or varied delivery methods will boost students' satisfaction and their learning outcomes (Lim & Morris, 2009).
