The Image was taken in Taiwan, Taipei. Longshan temple is a landmark temple in Taipei. Personally, I think it is the most Must-See attraction in Taipei. Here, you can feel the good spirits. Here is a man standing and doing spiritual prayers. The other picture shows you the image of the entry to the holy place during the evening.
Basically my images tells us Daoism teaches that life should be lived to the fullest and that a person should be happy. Suffering has no place in the religion’s philosophy. It focuses on balance and peace.
It is the way of heaven to show no favoritism.
It is for ever on the side of the good man
Great example of favors is bias, according to the saying the way to good is by doing the right thing. Good deeds will

They both have quiet opposition and have been passed on from one generation to the other for many years in the world. While they both have similar aspect of philosophy and religion, at first seem to be polar opposites of each other. They seem like they have different ways of mediating about the way of living our lives. They are indeed quite the same meaning it’s just that they are focused in different point of views that is Confucians is focused on social and everyday life, while Taoism is mainly directed at growth within himself on achieving an inner desire.
The first step is to understand the difference between these two terms. Confucians is scared because it is continually focused on it sacredness is to be found in and not behind or beyond the ordinary activities of human relationship. Human relationship are very sacred to Confucians because they are the definition of our nature principles
When everyone in the world sees
Confucianism and Daoism seem to be complete polar opposites but there are some similarities between the two. One way that they are similar is that they both focus on the goal of self-improvement. Their teachings both agree that people are responsible for their personal life, individual
Ancient China has three philosophies: Confucianism, Legalism, and Daoism. These three philosophies explain how people should behave and how the government should rule the people. The philosophies were guidelines to the people. Confucianism, Legalism, and Daoism have different values, beliefs, and ideas of what is important and expected, but the main goal is to work towards peace and harmony. These cultures are the same way in being rewarded due to their actions, but different in government regulation because of the people in command.
Although Daoism believes in modesty, and Confucianism emphasizes honesty, ruling a kingdom effectively during a time of turmoil requires sovereignty. Legalism is a system of pure power that demands restraint and discipline with an emphasis on strict laws. Daoism maintains the balance of nature and embrace harmony by utilizing “The Dao.” Confucianism highlights virtues and morality wanting people to become The Superior Man. For an East Asian Kingdom plagued by famine, war, and civil unrest, Legalism would bring order to the Kingdom by a centralized and powerful government, strict laws that govern the people, and once peace ensues, a secure economy.
Confucianism is based upon the teaching of the Chinese philosopher Confucius. This idea focuses on bettering people and the society, educating people to be
Buddhism and Taoism both originated and influenced most the Asian area. They are not just religions but a way of living life with philosophic principles. They are both seeking equality and moral existence. Buddhism have several branches just like the Hinayana, Mahayana, Esoteric, Pure Land, and the Zen Buddhism. Taoism can also be divided into a few. The main ones are the Southern and Northern Taoism. Taoism got many principles borrowed from the Buddhist one they influenced each other through their history. Taoism in the beginning was rather a mixture of mythology, folk, and philosophy teachings. With the arrival of Buddhism, it was forced to renew and reorganize itself. Both of the religion does their practices in monasteries, temples and shrines and also both of them use statues and pictures expressing their beliefs.
Sometimes, life provides us with a challenge of either conforming to two ideologies or forgoing one and upholding the other. Being able to be both a Confucian and a Christian depends on how one weighs the similarities and differences of either part. It is well-acknowledged that both Confucianism and Christianity are significant. Their teachings have aided to form the value systems of Eastern and Western and cultures, which have navigated millions of people in behavior, spirit, mind, behavior, and relationships. Going through their doctrines, we can discover something in common. Nevertheless, if we take a direct look, we can see that the whole structures of their philosophies are completely different. The composition is aimed at
While the Way can be considered an intangible idea of how to live your life, others believe it is an omnipotent force that shapes all things and cannot be named. Confucianists believe the former, where they have a superior chance of achieving a better life through ritual. Daoists, however, trust in nonaction, in not interfering with nature, to have a better and longer life. Conversely, the Daoist idea can only hold true in an ideal society, since it would be hard to employ. I will argue that a Confucianist society is better, because it relies on action in a society, the use of virtue with rituals to learn, and the overall betterment of the self to create order in the community as a means of reaching Way.
Oriental culture has been shaped by countless ideals, but two notable religions, Daoism and Japanese Zen Buddhism, played a crucial role in influencing the beliefs of the Asian community. Daoism emphasized unity with the Way, Though Daoism and Zen Buddhism emphasized different societal aspects and utilized various training techniques, they both aimed to achieve a similar religious goal of escaping worldly suffering. Daoism was influenced by Chinese traditions and aspired to harmonize oneself with the Dao, otherwise known as the Way. Daoist tradition placed a strong emphasis on the importance of qi, jing and awareness of relativity of perspective. Daoism believed in Qi, vital energy, and Jing, vital essence that was the basis of health, vitality and psychological well-being (The Inner Cultivation Tradition of Early Daoism, PAGE).
History has shown us, that Daoism and Confucianism have many things in common as well as many differences, let me start with what is Daoism and Confucianism. Daoism is also known as Taoism, is a religious tradition originated from China in the 550 B.C.E, it was founded by Lao Tzu, a great philosopher and the author of the “Dao De Jing” .The “Dao De Jing” or “Tao Te Ching” is a Chinese text that contains 81 chapters explaining the “ways” of Chinese life, it is often used by the monks or persons that practice the Daoism. Daoism’s main focus is on nature, and not on the social world. Compassion, moderation and humility are also focuses
They lived in harmony With the Dao (Which meant the way of the Cosmo)and had nothing to with the world of politics and administrative. they also didn’t do anything, yet they still accomplish nothing. Daoism also found it pointless to waste time and energy on challenging problems. Daoism believed that the way to live in happiness was for people to learn and live naturally. The reason why this I didn’t choose this philosopher was because even though it’s a peaceful ,we can't live in harmony with nature without having desire and if they only think by just waiting our chaos will end , it won’t are just going to freak out and do their own thing rather than ending the political and social
The most important things about past civilizations and their movements includes their major advances in government, military, religion, arts, and intellect. Throughout the times of each civilization, or movement, they have progressed greatly up to what we have today. For instance, Rome, Medieval Europe, China, and the Renaissance.
Confucianism is one of the main influential ideologies on the Chinese culture. The founder of this religion is Confucius; he was a Chinese teacher. He taught traditional disciplines at that time, and believed that he could change the order of the Chinese society. He has different principals in life. First, Li: “It is the medium within which to talk about the entire body of the mores, or more precisely, have the authentic tradition and reasonable conversations of society” . In other words, li is the social rituals between people and they are divided into different categorized relationships like father and son, filial piety, between brothers, husband and wife; Ruler and subjects, and between friends. The Second principal was Jen, which is humaneness; it describes the inner personality of a person and that people should practice respect to one another. Li and Jen are values that complete each other to create the superior man, according to the Confucius. Also, Confucius believed in the spirits but keeping them at a distance. There are Five Classics and the Four Books are regarded as a reference for Confucianism.
Taoism and Confucianism are two primary Chinese ways of thinking. Historically, these two philosophies have been viewed as polar opposites, but upon further research, they have the same mission. The belief system of Taoism viewed in Tao Te Ching, written by Lao Tzu, is the monistic belief that human kind has a connection to the universe, and the “way” controls your life and everything that you do. The “way” has a pre-determined plan for your life, and you must sit back and follow it. On the other hand, Confucianism represented in The Art of War, shows that you have to work and discipline yourself to become complete. The Art of War is essentially a “battle plan”, and “Tao Te Ching “ is a essentially a book of ultimate humility. These two pieces seem quite different with their own different goals. While Confucianism and Taoism have different ways of reaching their respective goals, their goals and their destiny is essentially the same: and that is self-control.
The origins and founders of these two religions are quite similar, which will be explained in this paragraph. Confucianism was founded by a man named Confucius; which is how the
Confucianism is regarded as one of the primary religions that have profoundly influenced Chinese beliefs and ideologies. While Kongzi, or Confucius, is the founder of Confucianism, he is not the only philosopher who has contributed to such a significant impact on China. Similarly, the Analects of Confucius is not the single text that represents Confucianism. In fact, during different time periods throughout the history, there are a number of eminent representatives of Confucian thoughts, such as Mengzi and Xunzi. Because Confucianism aims at eliminating chaos and maintaining order in a harmonious society , they all agree that the guidance and education of virtuous Confucian pioneers are of extreme importance to achieve this
