Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, are all monotheistic while Hinduism is polytheistic. However Confucianism and Taoism are both a philosophy. As for Buddhism, it is neither monotheistic or polytheistic.
Some of these religions have many of the same teachings. For example, Judaism and Christianity have a belief system called the ten commandments. Not all the beliefs in the ten commandments are same just a few. Both have a commandment saying they shall keep peace. They are not word for word but they mean the same thing. Islam has a system called the 5 pillars. Its has very little things similar to any of the other religions. However they have one thing in common, that it is also monotheistic like christianity and judaism.
Then there is buddhism.
Christianity and Islam are the most influential religions in the world. Judaism has only fourteen million followers across the continents which makes Judaism the 12th largest religion. Although Judaism is not as large as Christianity and Islam, It still has an impact on the world. Prophet Abraham is the called in Islam "the father of all prophets" and because of that, sometimes Christianity, Islam and Judaism are called Abrahamic Religions. There are many known differences and similarities between Christianity, Islam and Judaism. They all share the same believe in Divine Revelation; they all believe that god is contacting prophets through revelation. Also, both of Muslims and Jews claim to be strict monotheists while Christians claim to be Trinitarian monotheists. Besides believing in only one true god and life after death, hell and paradise, they all appeared in the same geological time and recognize almost same prophets. In contrast, Muslims and Jews do not have the believe of trinity as Christians do. In addition, the god of Christians and Muslims focused on the whole universe while the god of Jews on Israeli nation.
Judaism, Islam, and Christianity are some of the religions that most individuals can relate to, being the three largest religions in the world. Like many religions they share many differences and also some similarities. One difference that these religions hold is their view of Jesus Christ. Similarities are surprisingly common to find among some religions because of the basis they put on one another. Some similarities between these religions include: belief of monotheism and the influence of Zoroastrianism had on each religion. Also another similarity carried out by these three religions would be the significance of Abraham. Some other differences include: religious texts and also how they approach God in prayer.
The three different Monotheistic religions Christianity, Judaism, and Islam have gradually developed into exceedingly divergent faiths. They vary in many concepts and differ from each other in a multitude of ways, such as all having different characteristics/customs, different beliefs, and different origins.
Many of these religions follow a God, or gods. Judaism for example revolves around one God. In document 1, in an excerpt from the book of Exodus, it shows a list of ten rules or, commandments. Number 1 on this list says “I am the Lord your God.” Judaism popped up around 1000 BCE in Mesopotamia. It has very strong ties and resemblances to another major world religion, Islam. This isn’t the only religion that believes in gods. One of the earliest major religions, Zoroastrianism, originating in persia in 6th century BCE, believes that life began with twin spirits, one was the good, one was the evil. They established Life, and non-life. In document 1 and 7, it shows that both of the religions share commandments that its followers should live by. Both of these religions share many commonalities.
Hinduism, Confucianism and Buddhism are three of the world’s most distinguished belief systems of the past and for some, still in the present. The guidelines they provided influenced the social, political and religious lives of people within the societies that followed them. Hinduism emerged when the Aryans arrived in ancient India and began to combine their ideas with those of the Dravidians, the native population. One major Hindu idea was the caste system, which influenced the social lives of its followers and provided the state with political stability. Confucianism first saw an emergence of numerous followers during the Warring States period, when many philosophers were developing ideas for how to return order to China in this era of chaos. It provided political stability to the state by promoting an ethical system with several virtues and the idea that education could allow for social mobility. Buddhism originated from classical India when many people started looking for a new belief system, as they began to reject the caste system imposed by Hinduism. Buddhism had a minimal political or social impact on its followers, but instead influenced their religious lives. There is no doubt that these three belief systems significantly impacted the lives of their followers, but the manner in which they did this varied for each. Socially, Hinduism had the greatest impact with their caste system. Politically, Confucianism had the greatest impact by promoting virtues and
During Classical period (600 B.C.E - 600 C.E), religion and beliefs had a big impact on society and culture development. They helped the societies create more special characteristics, and bring social order in the societies. Hinduism in India, and Confucianism in China, both did help to influence and improve the societies deeply. Both of them introduced their moral rules, and added classes system, but they both had differences on their goals of people’s individual responsibilities, and also individuals focus.
Buddhism is a religous and philosophy belief propagated by the Buddha, a teacher from India who lived between the 4th and 6th century before the common era. The teachings of the Buddha whose real name was Siddharwa spread through Asia and to the West after his death as it was practised by the followers.
There have been many religions beyond our time most of which have believed in a higher power or powers. Christianity, Islam and Judaism, the three most dominant religions are no different. They are all Monotheistic meaning they believe in one sole higher power or God. Though they share this common idea and many other similarity, they have many distinct features of their own that make them different as a whole.
It’s inarguable that Islam is not the same as Buddhism, just as Christianity is not the same as Hinduism. The multitude of religions in this world remain separate through differences in theology, culture, and sometimes conflict. Although the various world religions are diverse in their history and geographical origins, they all share the common goals of regulating, enlightening, and unifying groups of people.
These three religions share a pretty important thing that they are monotheistic. Monotheistic mean that they all believe in the same God and they also believe in the some of the same scripture. Judaism does not believe in some of the other scriptures of either of the faiths.

Confucianism vs Islam: “Confucius Lives Next Door: What Living in the East Teaches Us about Living in the West” vs “Children of Dust: A Portrait of a Muslim as a Young Man”
Muhammad perspective on Confucius: The Analects is one that disagrees on many of the ideas of Confucianism. Muhammad’s views were to teach about God and to give hope in the afterlife. Muhammad in a way paved the way for Islam and created this new religion. Many at first thought that Muhammad’s teaching was going to change the old. However, what Muhammad’s teaching did was create a unification between leaders and subjects without the need of serving the Emperor.
Did you know your religion isn’t the only one? There are many other religions on this Earth.Every religion has its similarities. Islam and Confucianism have the similarity that 5 is an important number. Mrs.Weisner wrote “5 is an important number in both, In Islam you pray 5 times a day. In confucianism it’s 5 Key relationship.”However, this means they have differences as well, many other religions have similarities as well. A quote from Confucius is “ It does not matter how low you go as long as you do not stop.” Furthermore, this means that you should persevere through every task no matter how hard it is, as well as another goal for Confucianism. Finally, some religions even celebrate the same thing! Diwali (light)is
Islam shares similarities and differences with the Confucianism. Both Islamic and Chinese ideologies value positive development. It means that the two religions advocate equality, tolerance, and harmony, which are important to the social development and human relationships. On the other hand, Islam requires Muslims to have extreme loyalty to their religion. It sets up the rites that Muslims should participate in at least once in their lives; it requires pilgrims to strictly follow the rules during the rituals. Unfortunately, its extreme rules on mandatory religious obligations for Muslims were misinterpreted by me for two reasons. Without having an opportunity to study Islam, I subjectively believed that it is just an extremist, prejudice,
