Pedagogy is a word that is used to describe the art and science of teaching. Pedagogical roles are the many and varied that a teacher may perform while teaching, such as structuring, soliciting, responding and reacting. Other roles involve assessing, criticising, discussing, encouraging, enquiring, evaluating, explain, giving individual instruction, lecturing, organising, presenting, questioning and answering, repeating and reviewing and team teaching and tutoring etc.

Have you ever wondered what a good school looks like? The physical and human geography of Stafford Middle School is manageable. For instance one of the major physical features is that the hallways are quite small, also the culture is very diverse, and finally the interaction among the students shows that they are quite engaged.

The second and third floors have the same design as the first floor. The school has a very welcoming feel. Appreciation for the students and the teachers is shown on every wall, with different kinds of artwork, pictures of projects and student awards.

My academic goals are to complete my bachelor’s degree at UIW then continue my education my earning a Master’s Degree in Nutrition. I have several universities that offer master’s programs online, which so far have worked out well for me and my schedule. With all the research, we have done during this session I still want to follow my professional goals that I started out with when I began classes at UIW which is in the nutrition/dietitian field. However, the research throughout the session has given me insight to all other opportunities in the health care industry that I had very limited knowledge about. The second floor is mainly classrooms for lecture and set up similar to a college institution. The third floor has the pays lab, field experience events, and provides student group meeting for community planning activities. The guide for the transition site was a special education teacher named Jake, he was open to answering our questions and was open to explaining why the school was built in such a way. When the building was selected to be a transition site, LRE was taken into consideration. Therefore, students can learn and feel at home, and not another high school. At first, the style was confusing due to the fact that everyone is outside of their classrooms and walking in all directions, and it was meant to be like that. This transition site is meant to teach social skills and important life skills.

After getting over just how amazing the layout and environment of this school was, I was able to finally start observing how the interactions and instruction is implemented in this school. I was able to see how older students and younger students were able to learn from each other as well as teachers and students learning from each other. In this school everyone was constantly learning from others by observing, asking questions or just
