Describe the Mozi idea of inertia and Aristotle's law of motion.
Inertia is a resistance of a body to change its current motion. According to Newton's first law of motion, due to inertia a body in motion will stay in motion and a body in rest will continue to stay at rest unless an external force is applied to the body.
The inertia is the mass of the object. Moreover, through experiments, we know that the inertial mass is the same as the gravitational mass of an object. This is all modern understanding of inertia which was built over centuries by various philosophers.
