Rev. Alban Butler (1711–73). Volume VI: June. The Lives of the Saints. 1866.

June 4

St. Nenoc, or Nennoca, Virgin

SHE served God first in Britain, her native country, and is said to have gone with St. Germanus of Auxerre into France. At least she retired into Armorica, and there became a directress of many holy virgins in the paths of perfect virtue. She is said to have died in 467. Many miracles are ascribed to her in her legend in the monastery of the Cross of Quimperlé in the diocess of Quimper, in Brittany. See Colgan in MSS. and Chatelain ad 4 Junii.  1
