Bright Planet! Teller of clear evening-tide!
Star of all stars! Fair favoured night’s chief pride!
Which day, from night; and night, from day dost bar!
Thou that hast worlds of hearts, with thine eye’s glance,
To thy love’s pleasing bondage, taken thrall!
Behold (where Graces, in love’s circles dance!)
Of two clear stars, outsparkling Planets all!
For stars, her beauty’s arrow-bearers be!
Then be the subjects; and superior, She!
