John Hall Wheelock (1886–1978). A Bibliography of Theodore Roosevelt. 1920.
Roosevelts Collected Works
NOTE.—There is as yet no absolutely complete edition of Roosevelt’s works. The Homeward Bound Edition is simply the Statesman Edition with six additional volumes, and the latter is, in turn, a reissue of the Executive Edition under a new name. These editions contain only the titles published by G. P. Putnam’s Sons, with “The Rough Riders” and “The Strenuous Life” added by special arrangement. The various editions issued by G. P. Putnam’s Sons include only the titles published by that House, but “The Rough Riders” is included in the Sagamore Edition through the courtesy of the publishers, Messrs. Charles Scribner’s Sons. The Elkhorn Edition, based on the Uniform Edition of Gebbie & Co., has been enlarged from time to time and is at present the edition most nearly approaching completeness.
