The first things I noticed were block paragraphs that were numbered. Also, I noticed numbers and dates. Question: How if the value of a human life? Why is the value of a human life? Predict: I think the article would be about whether or not human lives should be value equal towards each other. R1: The author states in the article that no matter the financial circumstance of each victim, they should all be compensated equally. “The law required I give more money to the stockbroker, the bond trader, and the banker than to the waiter, the policemen, the fireman, and the soldier at the pentagon” (Feinberg 84). It is stated in the law that all lives should be treated equal, but how can a live be treated equal when one person is paid one dollar
The speaker argues that the criminal justice system in America treats you better if you're rich and guilty than if you're poor and innocent. Do you agree? Why or why not?
My age and gender: I am a male who just turned 15 in July 2015.
I face a number of unusual personal expenses that make it difficult for my family to contribute to the cost of my education. Unfortunately, I along with my two other siblings and mother have been diagnosed with a variety of autoimmune diseases. I have been diagnosed with Type One Juvenile Diabetes, my middle sister has been diagnosed Vitiligo, my youngest sister has a form of Uveitis, and my mother has been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. In order to treat our respective diseases we need to take the prescribed medications that are each very costly and do not have a generic brand available on the pharmaceutical market. The treatment of my, my siblings, and mother’s collective diseases is financially heavy on our family, and it makes it
While sitting at my desk in a classroom overflowing with colorful decorations, my 1st grade classmates and I were taught how to add and subtract. At that moment, I had no idea that numbers would soon become one of the biggest factors in my life. Before I knew it, my journey as a number on a sheet of paper began. From third grade to my senior year of high school, I have been tested in every way, shape, and form and compared to kids all around the country. My test scores decided if I was able to move on to the next grade, what classes I took, and will soon factor into what college I will be attending. Those numbers have seemingly been the determinant in how successful I have been academically and how successful I am expected to be. Numbers even
I signed up for the Recording Technology degree because I felt that I would learn valuable information in this class. My long term goal is to actually be a music producer, but since record companies and studios are starting to go out of business, I figured it would be useful to learn some tips that could at least let me work in the realm of music until I finally get a shot to produce music for a living.
Part 3: Person 2 was the Chemistry tutor and person 1 was the student who needed help with her Chemistry stuff. When person 2 asked person one a question or explain something to person 1, she would either nod or shake her head. On the one hand, when person 1 nodded, I interpreted that behavior as “Yes that is right, I agree with that, or I understand that.” In this culture, we all used the nodding sign in an agreeable situation and shaking our head from left to right was used in the opposite situations. Person 1 asked questions to person 2 when she could not figure something out. By what person 1 displayed during the observation was that she was trying to learning something that unfamiliar to her. Person 2, he answered person 1’s questions, elaborated things to her, was teaching her the stuff that he had learned from past experience. The specific evolutionary problems they showed here were teaching and learning. Person 2 was teaching person 1 Chemistry stuff that she did not know. During a lecture class, L. Meek, mentioned that specie like humans passing down knowledge to other people when they were not related and the other person do not necessary need to get any reciprocity from
Base on data that my field placement teacher had already collected, I decided to review with the students over Perfect Verb Tense. This is one concept that a lot of the students had a problem grasping the first time and with the Georgia Milestones coming up, they needed some more practice. I know that most of my students are EIP students, so I picked a video to start with as a refresher and then went straight into a review game to keep the students interested in the lesson. Then from there, I picked activities that I knew the students could have fun with base on the interests of my students, activities I’ve seen them play with before, and base on what they are struggling with. For example, the foldable activity is a great activity for my EIP

The organization and structure of a website could either add to the success of the website’s mission statement or it could take away from the overall success of the website. Aspects that could influence the website’s effectiveness include: appeal, range of offerings, accessibility, efficiency, and the website’s ease of use. On the website’s “About Us” page, the mission is stated: “Education World is a complete online resource that teachers, administrators and school staff can visit each day to find high-quality and in-depth original content. We update the site daily, offering: Carefully curated news briefs on topics that matter to educators, Lesson plans, printables, worksheets
I was wondering if you can call Deanna Strong and explain to her, we have a balance of $9.30, which is over 120 days and is not covered under her T&H. It is for unleaded gas, and we need payment for it. I told her a couple of months ago, and she said she was going to pay but I think she got confused. I will spread the T&H credit to the open invoice 2380625.
While preparing for this particular assignment I was able to examine and learn about FEAP standards, read chapter 1 of Integrating Educational Technology for Teaching and Take the Tech Survey to self-assess myself as a future educator. While completing the requirements of this week I learned the importance of technology regarding education. Even though I knew the importance I don’t think until completing the survey I really understood how much technology is integrated into the educational experience. While taking the survey I realized that there were different categories of technology within education. The fact that there were many different categories within this subject shocked me. When I first signed up to take this course I didn’t think
The story of the assignment that impacted me the most begins in a class I initially despised. There was a collective grump and groan when the networking and cyber security majors were informed that we must all take an introductory business course. We all simply could not understand how any business concepts could aid in our ability to program an effective network with corresponding security. With a rather narrow mind, I entered the class that I was told by others was the my boring and dull experience of their academic life. Still, I read the chapters and regurgitated basic concepts into short essay answers as requested by my instructor. However, after a short time came an assignment about learning to plan a business process and improve it.
I wanted to take a minute to send you a summary and timeline of the events that took place on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 where voice and data services were unavailable for approximately 1 hour.
By implementing this idea in Area Two schools to support special education students, we will create a more data driven approach to increasing student achievement.
