In 5 years
In 5 years I want to go to college and get my degree in engineering and maybe work on cars for a living or I am going to be a state cop and chase people down and catch them. It depends on the way I want to go. I am sure I will find a job that suits me fine. I can’t wait till I get to college and get my own car to drive around in but until 5 years are over looks like I’m sticking to my bike.
By the time I am at least 20+ I will graduate college, keeping my grades high ,incase I do not achieve my goal of professional football. (Hopefully as I backup I could join the USMC to engineer all types of military vehicles.)
To accomplish anything in life, you must set goals. These goals must be realistic and achievable. Two years ago, I was at a point in my life that I never believed I would see. I was finally at my associate’s degree graduation day. Becoming at teen mom at 17, college had never even crossed my mind. This was a moment in my life where I was able to not be your average teen mom statistic. Continuing to better my life and my daughter’s I set a new goal after graduation to achieve my bachelor’s degree. After speaking with UMUC counselors, I decided to obtain my bachelor’s degree in Social Science with a minor in Emergency Management. Currently, I am in my final two classes at UMUC with a scheduled graduation date of May 15.
5 Years from now, I will be in the Army. I will be serving my time as an infantry. I will do my time and work my hardest at whatever they need me to do. I will try my best to do everything the best that I can. I will be working hard everyday and talking to my family whenever I get the chance to talk to them. I will get to know my whole squad and they will be my family when I'm
In five years I intend to be happily married, and continuing to live a happy life as I am now. I intend to be planning a family and fostering the relationships with my family and my husband’s family. I will be involved in the community, helping to ensure safe environment for my future children. Regarding my career, I hope to possess a supervisory or specialist role at
In five years where will I be? Well, I hope that I will be starting college or saving money to start college at Ozark Christian College. In twenty-five years I hope to have found a girlfriend or to have made a girl a wife. Also, I will have wanted to complete culinary school. In thirty-five years where will I be? Well, I hope that I will have begun to be getting close to opening my restaurant. Fifty years from now where will I be? I sure hope that in fifty years I will have a wife and a child as well as a good reputation as being a good food chef that is at least locally known as one of the best chefs in the local area.
In five years, I see myself in medical school. I want to become an anesthesiologist.
As a young Puerto Rican, I always wanted to be a nurse or a doctor. This is because I have always had a caring heart and I enjoyed to take care of everyone. My educational goal is to get a Doctorate degree in Nursing. Furthermore, to reach that goal I have to start working on my Associate Degree. Therefore, my first educational goal is to begin and complete my associate degree. My career Goal after graduation is working as an RN in the Sarah Todd Nursing Home; the nursing home which I currently work at as a CNA. Being a CNA allows me to reach out and help people. Continuing my education would increase the amount of care that I can provide.
Five years can be a very long time depending on who you ask. I believe if you are having enjoyable time those years will pass by in a heartbeat. That is the reason why I would like to become a physical education teacher for the next five years. Being around kids and seeing them be active brings joy to my heart. I have always been involved in sports and physical activity that has taught me many lessons in life. I would like spread my knowledge to kids and show them the importance of being physically active. I would also like to be a baseball coach for the next five years of my life as well. Baseball has always been my passion since I was a kid. Throughout my 15-year baseball career, I have developed many skills that made me very successful.
My goals in life are to get a first enlist in the Navy, hope to get a job as a diver in the special operations program. After my first enlistment is up, I want to be a diver at an aquarium where I can feed the animals; Meanwhile, I would like to attend Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science at The University of Miami and earn a doctorate degree in Marine Biology to become a Marine Biologist. I've always been fascinated with animals, especially aquatic life. Although, I wasn't dead-set on becoming one at first, over spring break I made my final decision. We went to an aquarium and I just loved every bit of it; the animal’s interactions, the knowledge behind all of it, and the joy I saw between the employees and the animals. I’m very interested in not just the study of organisms in the ocean or other marine bodies of water, but also marine conservation and ecology. Thinking about the studies of protecting and preserving of the ecosystems in oceans and seas and interactions among organisms and their environment just gets my full attention. I could sit for hours and hours and listen to anybody talk about these subjects and they would have my full attention, one-hundred percent. This subject has never, and never will lose my interest.
There are many things that I hope to accomplish and do when I get older. I want to improve and accomplish different things for myself in my career that I choose, in my material goals, and spiritually. I'm looking at the year of 2009, I will be out of college and be on my feet, hopefully. I have high expectations for myself and hope to accomplish as many of my dreams and goals as I can throughout my life.
I have an aptitude for science and mathematics as evidenced by my high school record. There has never been a doubt in my mind: I am destined to be an engineer. I inherited this from my father's family of engineers whose background is in the farming and construction industries. But, my interest in engineering developed further after several trips to visit my mother's family in Honduras. I began thinking about the poverty, crime, and poor infrastructure. This triggered a question and interest in me: How can I help improve Third World countries using engineering advancements? I had never been exposed to the level of poverty and fear of violence that I saw when we made our first trip to San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Honduras is now known as the murder capital of the world, and, as we drove through my mother's beautiful country, I was impacted by how privileged we are to
Everyone must make a choice, once they reach a certain age, that will determine everything in their life. My dream job is to become an electrical engineer one day because I find interest in circuits and building electronic devices. When I was a young boy my dream not to be an electric engineer but something more along the lines of being a cook; however, that dream was short lived because my interest of being able to cook changed over as I got older and became interested in electronics. The way electronics work is simply amusing to me because I could not understand how the devices were operating, and honestly I still may not understand how these devices actually work. My backup plan for my future career would have to be becoming a
I have literally known what I want to be since I was a toddler. Of course, as a three-year old putting together Legos, I could not have verbalized that I want to be a mechanical engineer. However, it was at that time that I began to develop and use the skills that I will need for my desired career. I began to consider how parts went together and the different components necessary to build and sustain various systems. Part of the inspiration was the simple fun that I had while putting together these small toys, but part of my inspiration was my father. He was a maintenance turn-around coordinator at an oil refinery, which led to my own desire to work as a mechanical engineer in a refinery one day. As I grew older, my interest in mechanical engineering remained constant, though I expanded my interest beyond the oil refineries. In fact, after attending a pre-college program, Jackling Introduction to Engineering, offered by Missouri Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri in the summer of 2011, I realized that engineering was the perfect way to exercise my curiosity and inventiveness in a constructive and productive manner.
Ever since I was young, I have admired intricate buildings and structures. I have always appreciated a nice, well thought out home because I do believe home is where the heart is. I have done lots of research on architecture, and what it takes to become an architect. I am naturally drawn to this career because it requires lots of creativity and an eye for design. Being an architect also allows you to interact with people, which is important to me because I am a social person. It also is a steady job and brings in a good salary.
As human beings, we gather knowledge from many different sources. These sources can have an impact on our life and influence the choices we make that will affect our future. I have made a choice to pursue a career in the field of Software Engineering, because of my interests in technology and engineering. My values in life include having variety and independence within my chosen career. After dreaming of becoming a dentist following in my grandfathers footsteps, I realized dentistry for a career choice did not line up with my values and interests. I began taking different tests that evaluated my skills, interests, and values which ultimately led me to a choice in the technological field. The technological field will allow me to carry out my calling in life to help other by making everyday tasks easier through Software Engineering.
