If only one half of the flora in the world existed in 2100 (perhaps due to deforestation), what do you predict the atmospheric carbon level would be? I think the atmospheric carbon levels would be higher because there would be less tress to absorb the carbon from the air. How would you change the simulation to reflect this? I would raise the rate of deforestation to 2 GT.

There are often people who wonder what is the difference between climate change and greenhouse warming. The differences between the two are vast. Climate change can either be hot or cold temperature changes within a certain region, area, or even the world depending on how widespread the change is. Greenhouse Warming is a part of what can cause a climate change. It can come from humans burning fossil fuels to normal occurrences that happen in nature. However, it may occur and when it does it heats up the planet. We should be competent enough to distinguish the difference between them so that we will be able to be informed about what is going on in the world and not be uninformed and use our unawareness as an excuse to do nothing.
The results of the simulation availed to compare the effect of burning fossil fuels on the amount of atmospheric carbon versus deforestation. Carbon is engendered more by fossil fuels that deforestation. This is because deforestation is a natural occurring process whereas burning fossil fuels is a negative type of carbon cycling. This book is really awesome. A lot of children have a weakness for animals, and authors and illustrators have been exploiting on this for years, creating alphabet books featuring furry, feathered, scaly, and slimy creatures. Now Suse MacDonald has joined this party with her very crafty and cooperative alphabet book. For each letter of the alphabet Suse MacDonald has created a picture of an animal. The animal’s name begins with the letter of the alphabet on which page its sits, and this is what makes things interesting. The animal is shaped into that letter. So on the A page we see an alligator and it is bent into an A shape. On the D page a rather confused looking dragon sits in a way that it makes a D shape with its body and there are no words on the picture pages at all. Instead on every page there is a tab that can be pulled to reveal a hidden page. Each pull-out page reveals the letter of the alphabet for that page and the name of the animal.
Chapter 5 was filled with important information over alphabetic code knowledge. I learned that children develop 3 separate but related types of alphabetic knowledge, which are phonemic awareness, phonics, and spelling. Students learn phonemic awareness by noticing and manipulating the sounds of oral language. Students who are phonemic aware know that spoken words are made of sounds and they can segment and blend sounds in spoken words. Student use phonics to convert letters into sounds and blend them to recognize words. Those who apply phonics concepts can use decoding strategies to spell unfamiliar words. With spelling, students learn to segment spoken words into sounds and convert the sounds into letters to spell words. I thought the individual

There are many strategies teachers can use when working with children to help them learn letters of the alphabets. In past years children learned their letters alphabets by singing the “Alphabet song”. However, children sings the alphabet song, but do not always recognize the letters individually. There are several ways children can distinguish and identify the sounds for each letter of the alphabets. In the classrooms I have chosen to help children learn the letter of the alphabets, children will recognize letters by doing these various activities. The activities that are chosen is shaving cream, name cards and Twister Phonic Letters. Allowing these activities will give children many opportunities to learn to identity the alphabets letters. The focal project will be called Twister Phonic Letters. Johnston explains “alphabet knowledge includes not only visual recognition but knowledge of the letter names and letter name give early reading achievements” (Johnston, 2004, p. 2).
