I tend to cut to the chase, so I’m expecting that my vendors will give it to me straight when it comes to product selection. On the other hand, I like to know what I’m getting into and appreciate seeing the numbers. I’m naturally skeptical, and I usually have a lot of questions: important ones, I think. I’ve been in this industry for a long time and think that I often know more about the vendors’ products than they do, so they better really know their stuff when they’re dealing with me. I’m not big on socializing, and I know that most people probably think I’m shy. Actually, not quite true. I’m just reserved and think that most people wouldn’t be that interested in hearing all my thoughts. However, the other day I when realized that I could probably disappear for several days before anyone in my office even realized I wasn’t there, it sort of threw me. I suppose I should do something about that, but, I think I’ll just wait for the right time.
