Ethical considerations are appropriately addressed ?   Reliability of data, which is the consistency and stability of a measure over time, was ensured by administering the interviews in the same setting and with the same candor across participants. Data was not collected more than once in this case nor over a significant period of time which is of note. Questions were curated so variance was allowed but not extremely broad in order to ensure it could be coded. In order to gain trust the participants were met with two times in person before they were expected to give their personal information on the questionnaire and develop a rapport of mutual respect and understanding. The component of trust had the potential to separate the author and participants due to gender, age, race, or work background was a potential, but did not occur in the research process. The interview and questionnaire questions as well as the timeline are transferable to other studies on workplace ageism and are reasonable as they do not infringe upon participants' time and are designed with different intersections in mind. This study and the questions asked would not be as applicable in a white collar setting as they were designed with a blue collar workplace in mind. Dependability which relates to the conclusiveness on which the effects of workplace ageism were on the participants was mitigated by asking explicitly how this affected them and not a convergence of any other variable like dislike for the person,  and perceived slight may be an issue in self reporting experience and emotion can come into play but this was taken into account. Credibility can be assured by the vast research done on the topic prior to the administration and conduction of the study, and also the authors interest and personal experience with the topic of ageism and the psychosocial safety of workers. The author can produce CITI certification as well as many years of research experience. The study's findings are imbued with data and empathy as well as understanding which is a unique and honest stance that lends further to the credibility. To protect against the study not being confirmable, the author did not include any personal interactions with ageism in the workplace in order to focus on the findings that were based on the participants’ experiences and not the researcher’s nor their own biases. Ethical considerations in data analysis were addressed by none of the participants being known to the author personally nor any information or history given to the researcher on the participants in the workplace in order to not cloud perception of the participant, but keep them as individuals with no connection. The content and consequence of this study also asks for sensitivity and understanding from the author in recording personal sometimes traumatic events for the participants. Integrity is also at play and confidentiality of the subjects so their identity remains anonymous and their personal stories not divulged beyond the scope of recording.
