EPIDEMIOLOGY QUESTION:- The association between job-related exposure to welding fumes and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) was explored in an individual-matched case-control study. The study was conducted among 100 pairs, each pair consisting of one COPD patient and one control. Among them, 20 pairs were both employed as welders, and 58 pairs were both not occupationally exposed. In addition, there were 38 COPD patients currently employed as welders while 24 of controls were welders. Make a two by two table, calculate the OR, and give interpretation of it.
