Any cell contains the specific number of chromosomes and its is referred to as ploidy level or euploidy. When the cell contains 2 set of chromosomes then it is referred as diploid when it contains single set then it is referred as monoploid cell. Any change in number, shape, content of chromosomes can lead to chromosomal aberrations.
