A Positive reputation and selling the service to new customers. Public organisation Government Owned, customers’ needs to be satisfied, constant budgetary cut backs, customers wish to get their monies worth and strict customer charters which customers look for in consistency of service. Third sector organisation This type of organisation is independent, not for profit and any money made is reinvested back into the company for service and products. There is not staff outlay as staffing is supported by volunteers (charitable organisations) and more focused on care and support. 3. In relation to your current organisation (or one that you are familiar with), outline the part that customer service plays in this organisation and its industry as a whole. Customer service can help to build positive relationships with customers, increase sales and lead to loyal and returning customer which can have a positive effect on the business and indeed the industry as a whole. 4.
