Teaching has a different level of meaning for everyone. We all have different reasons for why we want to be in the teaching profession and why we love teaching. I am becoming a teacher for many reasons. I am becoming an early childhood teacher because I had two wonderful teachers that inspired me in many ways. These two teachers always had a smile on their face and most importantly you could tell they loved their job. I created a relationship with them as I grew through my schooling and I stll have that with them today. I want to have the same impact on children as these teachers did on me. I also want to become a teacher because I love helping and teaching children. Teaching is important to me because I want to make a difference with young children. I want to help them grow as students and make them ready for the next chapters in their life. For me, the first-third grade was a great part of my schooling because my teachers really helped me advance in my academics and I created a long lasting relationship with them. The learner is the most important person in teaching and they are the ones that allow us to become better at what we do. The view of the learner is very important to me. At a young age, you have to know your students well to know how you are going to teach them. Knowing your students will help you to better understand the learning process that you need to take to make sure each student is understanding and retaining the material being taught. Schools are
There are many reasons why I value so much to teach, because I want to be successful in life. I want to come out has a powerful woman, who want to help children with their homework or giving them an advice. Having my diploma as an education major is very special to me because make me feel I could be a motivational for children to become successful. Another reasons, having education help me to have a comfortable job as a teacher. I want my family to be proud of me. According to the textbook we develop value into cultures and societies that promote, teach what we learn to be (Walker 2013). I value education because societies and my family influence me to have education to have a better life. My parents always told me of having an education is the keys to live comfortable not breaking your bones. My teacher also influences me to become a teacher because it shows how caring they are to help others.
I wanted to become a teacher because I enjoy serving others, and as a lawyer I have the gift of talking too much. Teaching is so rewarding and gives me a sense that I am making the world a better place one student at a time. I feel proud of my students that always remember me as their teacher, even when they are in college, they pass by the school to see me or if they meet me on the street or any other location, they approach me and show gratitude and that is priceless!
As a teacher it is important to know who you are as a learner because it allows for you to help improve your educational experience and to help increase your knowledge. It also allows for you to open your mind to remembering that every person and every student in unique and how they learn will be completely different from one another. This means that in one class you could have thirty unique learners and it will be your job to make sure that you make each child’s educational experience meaningful to them.
School principals go through the school and supervise the students and teachers to make sure everyone is doing what they are supposed to and following guidelines. School principals assign teachers to certain things based on their education and hire teachers and other employee's as needed. They sit in class rooms and evaluate their teaching skills to be sure they are using approved teaching methods. They deal with conflicts that students may face with teachers or even other students. They make the teachers schedules and their duty schedules. They have to attend sporting events or any school extra circular activities (School). I will have to go to college to get my master's degree or bachelor's degree if I were to work at a private school, I will be working in an office and around the school, and jobs for being a school principal are expected to open up about 6% or as fast as average.
The reason why I want to teach is because of the essential and noble profession. Next to parents, I think teacher are important foundational element in our society. Being a teacher would show me the value, knowledge, and character to be a figure for children to look up to. The important thing is the proper preparation and the fundamental to living a full and rewarding life. A teacher is defined as someone who gives instruction and communicates skills. Teachers enhance the lives of our young children by using their teaching methods to deliver valuable information, which will serve the purpose throughout their lives.
For me, teaching provides the opportunity to share my passion for education with my students. It has been said that teachers should not be allowed to develop relationships with their students, because it interferes with their learning. However, I believe it is the relationship between the teacher and the students that sets the groundwork for their learning. When students feel as though they have a purpose for being in the classroom, and that they have a teacher who cares for their well-being, it gives them the confidence and motivation they need to continue with their education.
Why be a teacher? Everyone has their reasoning behind what career choice they decide on. Whether is it for the money, benefits or vacation time, whatever it is we all have our reason, this reasoning may be well thought out in one’s mind or just coming a feeling deep down inside. I feel that my reasoning behind pressuring a career as an educator has many aspects of reasoning and feelings, I think me becoming a teacher is my calling.
Being an educator means that you are someone who cares and wants to see children be successful in your class and in their futures. The reason I want to become an educator is to make a difference in a child's life. I have worked with children for over seven years and everyday I spend with a child I learn someone new, about them and about myself. I want to give back to the community in which I was raised. I want to show them that they have helped make me become what I am today. A teacher can make a difference in a child's life to the good or bad if they went into the field for the wrong reason. I want to be remembered for the one who helped and made a difference a child?s life and also as good role model.
My most important reasons for being a teacher are because I want to be part of a formal process that helps young people reach their potential, by providing them with the tools required so they can continue developing the skills to continue with self-learning about content, their social environment and themselves; because of the desire work surrounded by professionals who collaborate to pursue this objective; and because of the satisfaction to do something meaningful.
When I entered Educational Foundations class on the very first day, I had no idea what
There is a wide range of reasons that one would consider being a teacher. Each individual has
I want to be a teacher to continue to serve. I have served twenty years as officer in the United States Army and I want to continue to serve others in a different capacity. Through my time in service and later as member of the civilian work force I have seen the struggles of workers and employers as they struggle to find sustainable matches. One of the answers to this struggle a is better prepared work force. However, there are segments of our country that have been systematically left out, and I want to address that.
I never wanted to be a teacher. In fact, if you were to ask my high school teachers what I would be when I graduated from college, they would more than likely say lawyer. I was even accepted into the Jefferson School of Law in San Diego because of my performance while visiting with my AP Government class. Even though I did not attend, I still had hopes of being a lawyer. But as it turned out I did not have the stomach for law, especially when I saw exceptions to every rule. It was not until after my dad had passed that I realized at the age of twenty that I wanted to teach. Throughout my student prep in Los Angeles, I learned quickly how political education was and how little control teachers actually had over their classroom.
Teaching is important because students need people who enjoyed teaching and helping people follow their dream. Even when students are young they have dreams and to complete those dreams they need teacher to help them learned and encourage them to follow their dreams. Being a teacher is more than teaching students their subjects, it helping follow their dreams, find their passion, and showing them they can do anything if they tried hard enough. We need more teachers like that, not ones that just come to school and teach the standards. We need teacher who find a way to teach a standard in a way students will understand and enjoy. This is one of my goals as an educator, creating lesson plans that are informative and fun; a way for them to have fun while learning,
From the time I was a seven years old till the current day, as a Sophomore at Benedictine University, I have wanted to become a teacher. The four years of high school, Oswego High School, I truly become passionate to become a teacher. I took the necessary general education classes, and my elective classes learning about child development and early childhood education. Once I graduated high school, I felt confident to become a teacher, but I discovered that special education was what I truly wanted to do. From the first day or first grade up to now, I have become a success student, which I can’t wait to become teacher I want to be an aspirational teacher one day to my future students.
