I appreciate America’s Veterans because they have served for us back then and have protected us. Especially they gave up their lives when they were young, For instance, some of the Veterans were poor and had nothing and they went to the military to be a better person. In other words, were supposed to thank them because other people will not serve for our country. They protected us in many different ways and we United States don’t see it yet. To emphasize why I appreciate them is because most of my family went to the military and I respect them for that. Therefor, I would go the military because half of my went to the military and I want to follow my family footsteps because I want to say that I served for my country. In the other hand, the
These past and present veterans are vital to the survival of the U.S. They make it possible for us to have a life worry free, to the thought of danger. Without past generations of veterans we would be living in a country full of awful things. Veterans help to protect the children and people, by keeping
We honor our veterans because every day they put their lives on the line to protect our country; to preserve the freedom of this great land. Without question, without hesitation, these brave people come forth every day to help defend the 350 million people
Our nation past was, well, not always perfect. Without some of our veterans, our country wouldn’t be as free as it is. Veterans continue to make our country a free country, which also makes it a better place to live in. Veterans stood up for our country; whether the ones forced to go during the draft, or the ones who voluntarily go. Whether the cause, they were always ready to go and fight for the people’s freedom. We really do see how great these people are, I mean, they risked their life for ours to be
Saying “The Pledge of Allegiance” and singing “The Star Spangled Banner” makes me feel so proud to live here. Listening to veterans tell stories about wars is so interesting. You wonder how they survived and how some are still willing to go out and fight. When you see a veteran, you realize that this is your home. These veterans have given me a life most people would love to have. These veterans stood up for what they believed in. I will never meet all of them, but I will never be able to express how thankful I am. These veterans are people we pass every day, they don’t expect a thank you. We lose about 1,000 World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam veterans everyday. They should be thanked a lot
The men and women who helped shape the face of this country through their honor, legacy, and patriotism are those we call veterans. They are our dads, moms, uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters; they are our family. Yet, we constantly overlook their desire and passion for this country. The gratitude that they deserve is not shown towards them, as it should be. I thank all veterans for their
I am proud to say that both my grandma and grandpa served in the military. The experiences that they have had are invaluable to learn about. Their stories keep the service they have done alive and helps to enrich others about what serving the country is like. They do not glout about their service, but are humbled to have been able to make a contribution to the nation’s security. If not for my grandpa’s service, I would not be here today as he met my grandma through it. I respect his service and sacrifice for the country of today.
People often say that freedom is not free and that price has been paid by countless brave individuals. These brave individuals are known as veterans. Veterans should be remembered, respected and honored because of their sacrifices, courage, and patriotism.
Some ways we can honor are veterans are what i am writing about today. It is really important we honor them because they have been through a lot to protect us. When i say that i mean mentally and physically. If you watched the video then you would see that millions of people died. That was probably very hard to watch. And they have to go through a lot of training. So one thing you could do is make a card. If you know a vet or have a friend who knows one this would be something very nice to do.
Veterans are important in my life because of a lot of things. I have a few
I am so indebted for the way they protect our nation because the veterans don’t expect people to give them gifts or anything. I am so grateful for our nation’s veterans because they aren’t selfish like other people who expect things from others just. I am so grateful for our veterans because even though they return from war, they stay the same heroic person. I am grateful for our nation’s veterans because they aren’t selfish and cold hearted people, but instead care and have dignity within themselves.
How Americans feel when it’s Veteran’s Day is a feeling of elation. We know what these people have done, and it’s why we are where we are today. We have ceremonies to commemorate these brave souls, we have hours of dedicated programming broadcast on television and radios, all for them. Everything that goes on during Veteran’s Day is a reminder of what they have done. Every American knows that war can be brutal, it is never pleasant, it has consequences and some of those consequences can never go away. There is a chance many veterans have suffered great losses for what they did for our country, if you ask me I think they deserve a little credit. To think there are people so brave as to lose limbs, or even functions, for our country and for you and me? Of course that deserves credit, it deserves more than any of us can actually give because we owe our lives to these people! These veterans have fought, won, lost, everything possible just so you and me could be standing where we are right
Soldiers deserve honor and recognition for defending the freedom of the United States. They risk their lives so other Americans do not have to, and they are rightfully thanked for their work. Honoring soldiers is viewed as respectful and lets the soldiers know that Americans value their sacrifices for our country. However, for some people commending soldiers is often more about their own personal gain and self-esteem than about respecting the soldier. Honoring soldiers is often used as an excuse to boost popularity, increase personal satisfaction, and worst of all, to make money. Mention book
Some have fought all their life. They devote so much time and love to do what they can to make this country great. Some spend all their life, and some die for our country. These people will do whatever it takes to give us what we want. They give us freedom. I respect these people a lot and everything they do for us. They deserve a lot and I am so thankful to be able to have people to serve for our country. We are so grateful to have them. I love all of the people who have served and our serving for us. They are highly
You walk down the street. You eat, live safely, and are educated at a top notch. You, luckily like I, were given these rights without fighting for it. But some people, heroes, fight and give their lives for us. They’ve confined themselves to a life of fighting and violence to give us peace, and they’re haunted by the gunshots and war. Though not all veterans have killed a man or two, they’ve all risked their lives and threw their lives into an area of force that could result in pain or worse; and we can’t even thank them. It’s honestly sad that we, as people, don’t thank our veterans enough. After all they’ve done, you all stand here and only give them one day of honour per year, meanwhile they give years of dedication to us. Can’t we give
America offers many gifts to our nation, today. We are blessed to have veterans serve and protect our country. Unlike other generations, we have freedoms and rights because of the veterans who fought throughout America’s history.
