The project was to create a two-sided silhouette that represents your strengths, challenges, goals and who you are. The three biggest strengths I think I have are my ability to organize, listen and be on time. The three challenges I think of first are running, public speaking and learning new languages. I also have one short term goal and one long term goal. I would like to eat healthier and snack less starting now. My long term goal includes educating children. Also included is my personal interests and what makes me, me! I have strengths, challenges, and goals that are very important to consider daily that contribute to who I am. One of my greatest strengths that I have recognized would have to be my ability to be a well-organized in …show more content…
One goal I have for the present is to eat healthier and snack less. I find myself eating processed foods too much and I snack when I get home from school because I like to stress eat. My goal includes three bold steps to take in order to achieve it. One step is to limit the number of processed foods in my house and also start eating the healthier foods in my kitchen. I have enough control over what is bought for groceries that I can decrease our processed foods quantity. This goal is important to me because my health and well being are directly affected by what I eat and I would like to improve both things. The temptation is what makes this goal challenging. I must try my best to overcome temptations and stick to my goal. I represented this goal on my project by many pictures of healthy food choices. My long term goal is to teach. I love babysitting, volunteering at Monkton Central School. I have wanted to be a teacher since I can remember. My mother has inspired me to be a teacher, through her impacts on the children she teaches daily. This goal is very important to me because it is helping me choose where I want to go and what I want to do when I get older. It is questioning what is going to make me happy as well as successful in the future. It is very challenging because it makes me question what I really want to do, and what classes to sign up
One thing I do well is organization, I am always organized because I don't like to have everything all over and I like to find things quick and easy.
As we are in a New Year, I have set many personal goals that I would like to accomplish to become a better individual. I have always been a person who set goals, whether they are long-term or short term, I always have them. I like to set goals for myself because goals give me guidance throughout life. Now that a new year has approached, I am focusing on three main goals that I would like to achieve at this time. Those three goals include managing my time better, to keep maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and to continue to remain focus this upcoming semester.
In-addition, I pride myself on my ability to be highly trainable, to learn, recognize, understand, interpret and articulate organizational rules and regulations
A long-term personal goal that I have always had for myself is to graduate high school with my academic honors and technical honors diplomas, to get it I had to work my butt off. I had always studied for every test, made sure to at least receive a B or higher on any assignment. The hard work has paid off now because that is the path that I am on now to receiving a diploma. I had a lot of barriers though, like probation and family losses, but I made sure just to focus on me and know that life always goes on and I should
The second goal will be improving my fitness level by walking. I will walk 30 minutes every day for 5 days a week. I will walk as faster as could so I can feel the heart burn. Being realistic I may not walk 30 minutes from the day one, but I will try to walk at least 10-15 minutes each day first thing in the morning or evening. After reaching my goal of 30 minutes each day I will continue and set goal of reaching 150 minutes per day. As a rewarding I can see my-self-improving in health being physically active.
Goal setting is a major part of everyone's life because it gives people something to strive for in their everyday life. Take continuing your education as one of your main goals; that is the first little goal to reach your overall goal. Everyone should try to have a ton of little goals to reach that one huge desired goal in life. Whether it be continuing your education or even just to succeed in whatever a person is doing in their life. The results may vary maybe even the time frame of the goals one is trying to reach may be longer than others.
I have two key goals that I find imperative to achieve within the next few years; The first of these goals is to obtain a degree in computer science, in addition, my second goal is to get into better shape. The essential reason that getting a degree is my top choice is because I view it as the gateway to my life. Furthermore, I feel that if I obtain this degree I will be able to do things that would not be possible as of right now. My second goal, getting in shape, is also very important for me. I cannot begin to recall how long I have wanted to lose weight, and only recently have I started to see results, I do feel that I will be able to achieve this goal soon.
Before I graduate from High school There are a lot of goals I wish to accomplish. These goals are not only going to benefit me in High school but after it. I have a lot of goals I want to reach like, getting an A in all my classes and getting into PSEO. There are many more that I want to accomplish but some are harder to reach than others. There are some goals that I find more meaningful and important for my future like the ones I’m going to talk about..
First, I believe that one strength of mine is that I am very organized. I take pride in my organization skills and it helps me get things done in a timely and efficient manner. I feel that organization is an important skill to have as a school counselor because of all of the paperwork and documentation that needs to be done. Being organized will help me be able to easily find things in my office when needed, such as when a parent or any other stakeholder comes to me with a question regarding my work or a student. With
During the first years of my life common goals of mine were to stop peeing the bed and eat all my supper, a luxury compared to today. Goals are inevitable, whether the thought comes to mind or not, but the most obvious way to describe goals is evolving. Goals will shift as new problems arise or dreams flow in mind. My own goals were well thought out, but never put into words, creating difficulties to refine them. Now, fine-tuned and sorted, my goals hit many sides of the spectrum from weight lifting all the way to word choice within the essays.
Time goes by so fast that I cannot believe the fall semester is almost over. During this semester, I have developed some good habits and skills. As part of my well-being, I have added meditation to my everyday schedule. It is a good habit I have developed. Also, I am amazed about the improvement in my computer skills using a Mac computer, they are getting better. Something that keeps me tired is that I have not been able to get enough rest due to all the responsibilities I have. Reflections make you think and the one I am writing now has made an impact on my perception of goals and priorities. Setting goals is a long-term vision and short-term motivation. I have set up goals to improve my study habits and time management. First, I must learn to say no to people when they ask me to do something for them. Second, I will try to relax by practicing yoga. As part of my study habits, I will turn off my cell phone while I am studying to avoid distractions.
Many people have goal short, mid, and long term some of these goals can be personal or educational. What do goals help you with? By setting up goals what do you achieve, how do you set one up and follow that goal. I have created my own educational and personal goals for high school, college, and career. As a high schooler we want to be able to go to college and to be able to reach that, I have set up goals that would lead me to my result. The goals that I have set up was my two-high school goal are to join clubs and to graduate. Having a college goal is difficult, when I say "difficult " I mean we still don’t know what we want... for example what school? where do you want to live, do you even want to go to college? But I have some goas that I would like to reach. My first college goal would be living in a dorm, living at the campus would save gas which means saving money. My second goal is to make new friends, this may be goal that everyone has since preschool. Making new friends means going out having fun because we all know that college can be stressful, but having friends is also helpful with your study's, they could help you on something you don’t understand. My career goals are to become a doctor or a nurse. Becoming a nurse could be baby steps to leading me into becoming a doctor.
Another of my strengths is that I thrive in stressful situations, I can still get things done and do not buckle under
Everyone has goals in their lives that's what motivates them everyday. Goals can be as simple as i want to stop consuming soda. As i learn in SDS class goals need to be specific and achievable. A goal cannot as simple as when you were a kid and wanted to be a super star. As it might be achievable but not quite you really need to be a good singer. My goals are to graduate this year from wenatchee valley college with associate degree in arts and science and with high school diploma, transfer to Eastern washington university, and finally graduate with a master in social work. To complete my goals i first need to know what i need to do to achieve them.
One goal that I work hard at daily is to do well in high school. I try to involve myself in any activity that I can, both academically and socially, so that I can graduate with honors. The reason I do this is because I plan on going to college, and I would like to be
