The pros about imperialism, was that new roads and railroads that were built connected many parts of India. The introduction of the telegraph and postal systems united many people. Discovering new agricultural methods improved farming in the west and in Africa and Asia. Schools that were built by the British educated many people. Human rights were recognized, by ending customs that threatened many humans. On the other hand, the cons of imperialism were what benefited Europeans and infuriated the Asians, and Africans. Many individuals and groups resisted imperial rule. European tried many ways to westernize the subject people’s cultures. Many of the resources that were manufactured profited the Europeans rather than the Indians. A cash crop economy was established

It is distinguished by the continuous territorial acquisitions of Africa and Asia by European powers. Some of the positive effects of imperialism on india would be the transportation methods and communication that were introduced to India by industrialized countries like Great Britain. Phones were improved and paved roads, cars, trains, and postal networks. This was a positive effect because it boosted the economy, standard of living and the flow of information to people. Also modern technology and education were also benefits for India. More advanced machines for manufacturing goods, vaccines, cars, electricity, guns, steel, and steam engines were all brought to India to help industrialize the new colony. Education was much more popular after colonization because social groups were less dominant. Many subjects such as science, health, agricultural resourcing, hygiene, and medicine were taught. Lastly another benefit was that India's population and production of goods increased. The population increased because of the better usage of hygiene, the increased amount of vaccinations and medicines available, and a larger food supply. Britain encouraged traveling herders to settle down and become farmers, teaching them about crop rotation so their lands would be fertile.
The European imperialism was very beneficial as it changed many structures of governments. For example, the Japanese had a feudalist government where the nobility had land in exchange for military service and the peasants/slaves were forced to live in their owner’s land while doing labor such as producing crops in exchange for military protection. This government was also strict on foreigners as they prohibited foreigners from entering Japan. However, this system was soon abolished as the European imperialism showed the negative aspects of this type of government. It was switched out and became more westernized. According to Woodblock prints of domestic ‘westernization’ “ No one anticipated that Japan would or could throw off seven countries
