The Worst Trouble I Have Ever Been In When you are younger you seem to get in to trouble every time you turn around, but there is always that one time you will never be able to forget. Well that certain time for me personally was during my freshman year of high school. A couple of friends and I decided we were going to skip school on this certain day, and just ride around town for the day. Little did I know this would be the worst mistake of my life. Our ditch day started out just like any other, I woke up got ready for school, and started my morning drive to the town of Clinton. I was a nervous wreck during the drive, the worst case scenarios were racing through my head. I should have listened to my gut then, because …show more content…
After much debate and arguing we finally decided we would just gather up what money we had between us, and ride some backroads for the entire day. We all whipped out our wallets and scrounged up every cent we had, which came out to be almost forty five dollars. So we drove to the gas station, spent ten dollars on snacks and drinks for the day, and put the other thirty five in gas. We could not have been happier with the way everything was panning out. We pulled out of the gas station and headed down Bolton Brownsville road, we drove for about an hour or so before we started to get bored. Then one of my friends suggested we head back in to Clinton and go to the old race track off of the frontage road. We all agreed that it sounded like a great idea, because we knew there were a few good mud holes out there that we could try my new tires in. So after about another thirty minute drive we pulled into the old race track. We parked my truck out of sight and walked down to the abandoned track, we walked on the track for a while, and then decide to go get back in the truck and hit a few mud hole we had spotted on the walk. So there we were again back in the truck, we rounded the corner of the first trail, and here was the first hole. It wasn’t very big only about 15ft long and seemed to be mostly water, I dropped my truck in to four wheel drive high low range, and crept through the first hole with ease. We were all laughing and having a good
One day in 7th grade at 6th block it was almost time for Eogs to begin actually they were the following monday and i was talking to natalie.Mr.Clark was talking about something that really bored me ,so talking to natalie was pretty much my only option.I really should of payed attention but you know it was almost the end of the year and no one really payed attention. He wanted us to take notes so i pulled out a bunch of paper.Everybody kept asking me for paper so i got very annoyed.
The day started at 6:00 in the morning. My magnificent Dad fired up the semi so it could build air and then we rechecked the chains to make sure the tractor was not going anywhere. We arrive at awesome Brookville around 7:00 in the morning. We unloaded the M and then we had to take off 14 100 pound weights in order to get the M into the 5600 pound class. 8:30 rolls around and i’m getting ready to pull. I drive out on the track back up to the sled. I wait for the flag to wave green, then I idle up start letting out on the clutch then I let the ole M eat, Throttle maxed, The M
Senior year of high school after jam packing my schedule with advanced core classes. I decide take a class where I didn't come into class and immediately start counting down the minutes. That first day of senior year came, and I found
We woke up early that morning to get a good start on the day. We all ate breakfast together in the living room watching a movie on the television. Once everyone got up and got dressed up to walk around Gatlinburg we all got in the car and left. The first thing we did once we parked was to go find the tram station. The tram station is where you get in a closed in cart and ride up and down the mountain. We rode the tram up the mountain and we stayed at the top of the mountain tram station for about two hours. The first thing we did was go to the arcade room. My brother and I got really competitive and we tried to see who can make the most touchdowns in the football throwing game. We also did the basketball shooting game. And not to brag or anything but I beat my brother in both male dominant sports games. After we got done at the arcade, we all got hungry and wanted to go eat back down the mountain. Once we got back down we saw a Cici’s Pizza down the street so we started walking towards the building. We got there and we finished our lunch us, kids, wanted to go to the aquarium. The aquarium was about three stories of nothing but different types of fish. My dad is a big aquarium guy, he was like a kid in a candy story. He wanted to look at ever fish and read everything about the fish. In the aquarium they have two different types of shows. One show is about a bunch of different species of fish and the other is about the stingrays.
It was a normal day I got home and my mom was there. “She told me are you ready?” “I said for what?” She exclaimed “You’re going to Norris Lake!” I was super excited because I was going with my friend from my soccer team Trey. I got packed as fast I can and they picked me up. The only problem was it was 101 degrees and a 8 hour drive. About halfway to the lake we stop at a restaurant and get food. We went to Wendys. After that we would drive and get gas and about 10 minutes before we get there we stop at Walmart and get food for the entire week.
It was the second semester my freshman year of high school when I realized the errors in my own personality. I was fifteen and going through the anger phase that most teens endure. I now realize myself to have been unusually cruel.
When we got in the mall, it felt like we went through about 100 stores before we finally got to a store named Lids and he was able to find just the right hat. After he bought his hat, we went to the food court and I got a slice of pepperoni pizza from Villa Pizza. It tasted like heaven! When we were done eating, I put a ring pop in my mouth and that is when we noticed that it was starting to rain. We were like, “oh no!” So, we started to walk back to our bikes and by the the time we got there, it had miraculously stopped raining! Since it was no longer raining, we took our time pedaling all the way around the mall. However, just when we got to the other side of the mall, it started to rain again! We all peddled extremely fast to get to a covered place to take shelter from the downpouring rain. After about ten minutes of impatiently waiting, we decided to take off regardless of the rain. We felt the cold rain on our skin and it made us shiver. We started pedaling faster and faster. Now, we were all hyped and going really fast splashing through the water puddles. We were biking through the Old Chicago pizza place when my front tire hit a pothole that was
Now that I look back on it I was immature and foolish during the eighth grade. I had this history teacher Mr.Simmenson that I didn’t like much because I felt like he would always pick on me and embarrass me in class.Mr.Simmenson had burnt orange skin, he always wore Dickies with a whole in it, he was bald with some blond bangs on top of his head, and he always spit when he talked. So one day me and this girl named Lauren decided to do the most treacherous thing to him. She bout two eggs to school one was boiled and the other one wasn’t. So during lunch we ran past his class and threw the eggs in it. Nobody never knew who did it. There was another time when she bought a potato to school and we drew the features of the teacher on it and wrote Jan on it. Jan was Mr.Simmensons first name we seen it on his papers. Sometimes when he was writing on the chalkboard everybody would take turns yelling Jan out and he would he mad. Or at 11:00am twice a week everybody would throw their books on the floor and put their heads down. There are so many foolish stories and I can’t tell them all. But even though I did all this I didn’t care if I got in trouble. It took two serious situations for me to come to reality of the things I was
My brother wanted to go mud riding in his 89 Toyota pickup one night, so he asked dad. Dad said it was okay. We drove to a place that our hunting lease owns and it has three small mud holes. The mud holes are not very bad but it had just rained a few days before and they were slick. I locked in the hubs because my brother heard a few dogs and did not want to chance it. We eased down the trail to the first mud hole my brother hit it kind of fast. We slowed down a little for the next one. I liked seeing the mud come up onto the truck.
The most difficult situation of my life was my transition from 8th to 9th grade. I for some reason believed that I had everything under my control, but of course it turned out that I did not. I decided that it was fine to miss school or be tardy. Which inevitably led to my expulsion from my high school, and me missing the most important year of high school the ninth grade. Yes I could blame it on others for influencing me but it all came down to me and it was my sole fault. It did take me some time to realize it but when I did I was on the way to the right track which was the start of my tenth grade year.
I have been no stranger to getting into trouble in my life. I believe everybody makes their share of mistakes, but we must learn from them. My sophomore year of high school I made one of my biggest mistakes but it definitely changed me for the better.
Stepping out to examine our surroundings and making sure that the car was safe from any more ruts and puddles we carefully moved on. Now off the trail we drove down to Walmart to buy cleaning equipment. The car's interior was covered in mud and the outside was indescribable muddy. Walking through Walmart covered head to toe in mud was hilarious. I never felt more exposed before in my life. Quickly, we purchased our supplies and went to a car wash and got kicked out for how muddy the car was. Eventually we found a car wash again and began to scrub the car everywhere. The soapy water covered the car including us as, we scrubbed it till it was squeaky clean. After that the interior was scrubbed till not a drop of mud was scene because Andrew had to drive his parents to church in the
I got myself ready for school made sure my siblings were all dressed and ready as well, then made my way to the kitchen. I was sitting at the kitchen table drinking my cup of coffee listening to my dad and sister tease and joke around about how paranoid my brother was about how his first football game that he had that night. My dad was telling that maybe if I stayed and watched my brother at his game that he would feel a little more at ease because my dad didn’t get off work till late that night. And that I would have fun at the football game myself cheering him on. I was too stuck on the idea of finally getting away, that what my dad said to me went in one ear and came out the other. I was too busy thinking about the plans my mom and I had like to go shopping, take a tour of NYC, and then to end the night a dinner and a movie.
It started as a regular night, I went to a bonfire, with my best friend at the time, and the night was going good until I got a text from my mom, on that I dreaded more than I ever had before: “Your dad is coming to get you now. The cops are here looking for you. What’d you do?!”
My family is crazy. They know it, I know it, and everyone knows it. The craziest person in my family had to be my Aunt Charlotte. She had good intentions, but never could fulfill them. My aunt’s death caused a lot of problems in my life. Well, this is how she in a way screwed my family over, made us crazier, and in a way made us all stronger.
