The Federal Government is the body of government that implements and administers public policy. The Federal Government Government execute all political powers. Moreover, the Federal Government according to, (Benz, 2003) is defined as “a system that divides up powers between a strong National Government and smaller local government.” In addition, (Benz, 2003) also states that the Federal Government are best used in large countries where there exists a diverse group of people with diverse needs but a common culture, which unite them together.”
With that being said, the Federal Government is composed of three branches, and they are: (1). Legislative Branch, (2). Executive Branch, and (3). Judicial Branch. The three branches of government are governed by the U.S. Constitution, the president, and the federal court. Which brings us to an overview of each branch of government. The legislative Branch is the branch of the government having the power to make laws. Moreover, the Legislative Branch “consists of the house of Representatives and the senate, which together form the United States Congress (Legislative, n. d.).” The Legislative Branch has a process in which it conducts its business. With that being said, a bill is the first drafted, and then given to the appropriate committee for review; and here the bill may be viewed as being accepted, amended, or rejected entirely. The Three Branches of the Government Our government is made up of three branches, the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial, which all work in conjunction to balance each other’s powers. The Constitution set up these branches to create order within the government and to limit the power of any singular unit of government. These branches are all separate, yet united, with the singular goal of maintaining the country’s freedom and aiding the citizens under it. When problems arise in our nation, we are left with a complicated crisis as to whose job it is to do what and who exactly should be taking care of any bad situation that seems to pop up with daily life anywhere in the world, but in this case, America. Federalism can be defined as the relationship between the individual state governments of America and the national or federal government of the United States; and works to balance the power of a large central government, and the power of the smaller regional governments.

They thought the best way to get a strong government but to keep the people’s rights were to create the three branches of government. Once the bill reaches its date, the members initiate a debate regarding the proposed legislation (“The Legislative Process,” 2014). At this time, amendments may be approved and the bill is voted on by the members. If the bill is passed, it is referred to the other chamber and undergoes the same process. If the bill is accepted by both the House and Senate, it is sent to the President. The President has the option to approve or veto the bill. If signed by the President, it becomes law. Congress may try to override the President’s veto by two thirds vote of the members (“The Legislative Process,” 2014).
