The Army Essay

The Army has more job opportunities than the Marines but the marines are more restricted to fighting rather and possible behind the desk jobs that the army offers for some soldiers. Dew to the fact that the marines are part of the navy, the marines don't need the administrative, and tech jobs. Primarily making the marines the elite fighting force. The army being its own branches needs those jobs and the soldiers to perform them. But still having the infantry, combat jobs the marines also offer.

The Army and “Chair” force have a lot of similarities and differences. Even if it is portrayed the the Air force is smarter than the Army. Or the Army is the last place you would let your kids enlist. Both branches play a huge role in our American country.

     The Army National Guard is a whole new way to serve. It’s all about commitment to help communities in need. It’s solid dedication to the country in war and in peace. They form an elite team that shares similar core values, convictions, and beliefs. To be in the National Guard can mean serving the country part-time, one weekend a month and two weeks a year as most Guard members serve. This is what makes them different from the other branches of the military. Experiences will be gained that would change one’s outlook on life forever. Education is not the only benefit that comes from service in the military. When many people first join, they are assigned MOSs. MOSs are jobs assigned to someone when they first join (Nance). Each MOS is specific and is usually related to the field an individual is interested in. He is sent to training immediately after basic training. Each branch of the military has different jobs, depending on what is available. Jobs can range from being a dentist to becoming a lawyer, but each has its own school for

two hundred jobs to choose from. The Army has a vast of technical job from low technical to

joining the military you have to work as a team no "I" in the Navy which I was familiar with because of my sports background teamwork was number one rule so the military wouldn't be such a shock if I never be a team player. but i learned a lot even more about different cultures by actually visiting countries that people I met in the United States and see their way of life back in their native homeland also eating their food and drinking the local beer while sighting seeing always made me enjoy the experience of being a sailor. Besides traveling the world and having fun the military shaped me to be even better person not just through teamwork but through the training and the spirit of being a American patriot with honor,courage , and commitment and willing to fight for America in the world's greatest Navy.

You will work for other people within your organization and have to follow orders and directions given by those in leadership and or supervisory positions. You get great benefits from being in the military. After you are done with your service you can use the trait that you learned in the civilian world. When people are able to pursue their passion they are internally happy. I believe this is different than just being skilled at something. I have been decent at lots of things throughout my life, but those things did not give me gratification.

I was able to meet and work with people from all different backgrounds. Some of these coworkers have become lifelong friends.
