Hunting and fishing have been around since the beginning of the world. Soon humans would come along and carry on the practice of surviving and thriving this ancient way. Both hunting and fishing are skills that are still used today, but are not used so much as to survive but as a sport. What are the similarities and differences between hunting? Well for those of the readers that have not participated in either events or do engage but have never wondered about this question, hopefully this essay will answer all of your questions about the similarity and differences between hunting and fishing. To be prosperous in both hunting and fishing one must be able to determine the location of the animal you are stalking. While hunting may be easier to track the animal, fish can only move so much because they are stuck in a body of water. Both deer and bass prefer to stick in cover of bushes and fallen trees. Both bass and deer ¨bed” during the day; however bass like deer will occasionally move in daylight. Deer can arguably be easier to find because of new technologies like scopes and rifles that can shoot at long ranges, but while bass fishing you are most of the time on a craft which is sitting on top of the water giving you an advantage of being able to see through the it to see the fish swimming. There is also new technology that uses sonar to map the bottom of the body of water and it can track fish movement. Both hunting and fishing require one to be able to read and
For my final project, it starts off with directions to push R to restart the game. Every sprite in my game has to move off the screen and hide when R is pressed. After that, at the bottom of the home screen, you are directed to push the flag to take you to the options of deer hunting and duck hunting. When the mouse touches either the deer hunting sprite or the duck hunting sprite, it sends a broadcast message to the randomizer sprite and the backgrounds. The background switches to whatever was selected, and the randomizer starts sending messages to the deer or ducks and the enemy animals to start moving. During the game, if the spacebar is pressed, the scope for the sights will appear, and if B is pressed, the sights will go back to normal.
Hunting is something we've done since we've been on this planet. We used to do it out of necessity, but in the modern world we do it for many other reasons. As technology has increased, we have developed different methods of hunting. These methods have carried over to today, but two have prevailed: bowhunting and rifle hunting. These methods are both hunting--obviously--but they're different in almost every other sense. Bowhunting and rifle hunting are different based on the weapon used, the way you hunt, and your connection with the animal and the land around it; however, the same in the way the respective methods bring people together.
Hunting allows a person to reconnect with nature. For many, hunting isn’t just about the chase and the thrill of catching their game. For many, hunting
Hunting has been ingrained in American history from the Native American tribes and from when the first settlers arrived to the New World. While hunting is not needed for survival in today’s society every year thousands of hunters take to the woods in pursuit of their quarry. While many people think these hunters are all the same there are two main sects that make up the hunting community; gun hunters and bowhunters. While both methods of hunting are similar and share many common points, there are some key differences between the two as well. While bowhunting is more challenging and the less popular of the two methods, and being less popular is often seen as a bad thing, bowhunting’s lack of popularity and increased challenge is what makes it the true pure form of hunting.
Waking up before the rising sun on the morning of the hunt left me feeling groggy with my eyes slow to open and close when blinking. Being extra quiet to not wake up my mother was a main challenge, trying to tippy toe around the cabin and dodging the creaky spots in the floor. Prior to eating breakfast, I began getting dressed. Due to the fact that I was in northern Minnesota, the weather was bone chilling and the wind would seep right through your layers onto your unexpecting skin. Once I had put on my long johns, sweatpants, and long sleeve shirt with a tee shirt on top I began to make my breakfast. I had decided to have scrambled eggs that were cooked to perfection with the yolk golden mixed in with the pure snow white egg white and flakes of pepper sprinkled throughout and toast with butter melted onto the crunchy outside making it soft with homemade strawberry jam spread thick on top.
One of the main difference between these two sports is that one sport you use a gun to get your game and in the other sport you use a rod and a real. The only time I could say that you actually try to “hunt” fish is when you are bowfishing. Bowfishing is done at night most of the time on a boat that has spot lights on it. This something that is way different than duck hunting because you don’t hunt ducks at night or with a bow. There are more than just those differences. You can duck hunt for only a certain time of year; but you can fish year around.
It is important to remember that it is quite difficult to catch bass fish out in the open. What you should do is look for a covered area such as rocks, lilies, boat docks and more. This is where bass usually hide themselves and hence it will be easier to catch them in these places.
Although numerous similarities exist between bow and gun hunting, there are several differences for example, the amount of time the hunter has to participate in the season, how the weapons function, and finally the weapons lethality.
Based on the time of year, there are many techniques used to catch a bass. The most common and favorite among most is the jig and trailer used year round, accompanied by a pitch cast. These movements alone are beautiful in their simplicity. Some who have mastered the pitch cast put a jig and trailer in an area the size of saucer from 50-60 feet away with little to no splash. The pitch involves a slight sway backwards, then a smooth step forward as you use your wrist to swing the tip of the rod forward toward your target. You release the bait from your hand at the precise moment and the bait will glide slowly just barely above the surface of the water to enter quietly at the spot that was being pitched

What do you think of when you think of hunting. Hunting Is a sport but hunting has many different rules and different forms. What I meen by that is that laws change every state and county. Some states have deer hunting, some have dove and others don’t. The laws can change from state to state as well. I will talk these subjects in this paper.
All over the world, people have hunted for thousands of years. From the lions and rhino in Africa to the whitetail and hogs across the United States, people have always been right there watching them and planning their next move. The reasons behind their hunting have varied over the years. Before, hunting was required for survival and every piece of a harvested animal would be utilized. Today, there are still people who hunt for that reason, but the thought of hunting has become more of a sport. Considering hunting as a sport, hunters can be organized by the reason for hunting pleasure, necessity, and trophy.
Growing up, I’ve always viewed the outdoors as a place full of adventure. From setting a hook on a nice largemouth bass to killing my first trophy buck, game sports such as hunting and fishing have always been a part of me. Throughout the years, I have had many experiences participating in both of these forms of recreation and understand that though they are different, they do share similar qualities that bring them together.
Hunting is the world’s oldest and most productive means of food, yet it has begun to take a turn from its originality. Most “hunters” do hunt for food, but the select few that specifically hunt for the sport and nothing else have begun to sway organizations to the concept of “Anti-hunting.” These institutions have concluded some very critical, and factual, evidence in their opposing arguments on the matter, but in some ways the argumentation presents weakness that has been overlooked; these flaws are menial, but need to be surfaced. These little defects within the following arguments justify the hunter’s right to hunt and harvest game, and Anti- Hunting organizations such as PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) have stated multiple facts about the way hunting has turned against its inventiveness such as: sport hunting as an unnecessary form of cruelty, fair chase of animals, and hunters as conservatives.
It was my favorite time of the year again, deer hunting season. Going to my cabin up in northern Minnesota and doing what I love was never a let down. The peacefulness, liveliness, and belongingness of being in the woods made deer hunting the most enjoyable part of the year.
