Sergeant Lou Maynard is a sergeant on the police force and there are couple of officers that are getting ready to retire. Most of the other police officers and Maynard feel as if the retiring officers are slacking on the job. The officers police reports are very sloppy and don’t seem like professional reports. These two retiring officers have teamed together for a lot of years and have lost interest in being social with the other officers. The United States Marine Corps has been one of the most powerful military branches in the world for more than twenty-three decades. The most important things that have kept this organization as prestigious and powerful as it is are the famous leadership traits, leadership principles, corps values and the leaders that uphold those traits. Without these structures, this leadership hierarchy this “gun club” would not have lasted this long. This past year of 2015 and 2016, Corporal Walton has performed an excellent job while in the supervisory capacity in the Classification Department. She maintains a clear organizational structure within the department. She ensures that her staff complies with administrative policies, processes and procedures. When it comes to the transportation of inmates in or out of the facility Corporal Walton ensures that her staff is aware of all aspects of safety and security.
As stated above, Officer Dixon came to Durango PD with previous law enforcement experience. I noticed that when Officer Dixon was in FTO, the other trainees that had no previous experience would go to him for advice and guidance. Officer Dixon helped the new trainees with what to expect and helped them during a challenging time in their new careers.
On Monday, April 24, 2017 at 0940 hours Sergeant Rowe conducted uniform inspection for class 17-02. When Sergeant went to check Recruit Tia Chin he paused to examine the uniform. In the result of checking, Sergeant Rowe asked Recruit Tia Chin, “Who checked your uniform?” Recruit Tia Chin failed to give Sergeant Rowe a response. After being asked a second time Recruit Tia Chin remained at attention and gave no response.
In NCC, he rose through the ranks and achieved the coveted rank of Master Sergeant. He held his appointment with high regard and has never failed to execute his duties to the best of his abilities. Officer Osborne has been with the department for 15 years, and has an unblemished disciplinary record.I know that Officer Osborne recently discovered his wife had an extra-marital affair, and that he is very depressed. While I was doing my routine review of patrol cam videos, I notice that a disproportionate number of Officer Osborne's traffic stops involved attractive young females. As his supervisor I would have to follow policy and make a secondary complaint on the officer. A formal complaint will probably be made and given to internal affairs.
