Being involved in clubs throughout high school has taught me how to work with people coming from different backgrounds. One of my main goals in life is to create an organization for poor communities in order to teach them how to eat right with their own resources and motivate people to make the world better for everybody. I feel passionate every time that I help people, knowing that they feel healthy and happy is very important for me. Even though I’m still undecided about my major, I’m thinking to study the pre-medical program at University of St. Thomas. There are so many reasons for which I want to attend this college. One of the experiences that touched me the most was going to a humble community on Children’s Day. When we got to the place, I gave to a little boy, his present, he smiled, hugged me and told me: “Come back next year please, I feel that I love you right now”. And since that moment I created one of my biggest dreams, being a philanthropist to teach humble communities how to eat with their own sources of food around the world. I will help my community at school, be a leader and create new organizations. I’m planning to be involved in the organizations mentioned before and also with my partners at school. I will be a leader that help everyone and brought them together to get better results. Also I’m planning to create a nonprofit organization where I could have the opportunity to be a philanthropist, making activities to get enough resources and help communities to get a better nutrition and mainly make them happy. I have a passion and love for working with people and help them to become healthy and create a sense to make this world better in all aspects. The determination I have gained will help me never give up and always give my best when dealing with work and challenges that I will face during my path in college.
