November 26th, 2004, and there is a sea of burnt orange everywhere at Darrell K Royal Stadium, and as a seven year old in a number eleven Derrick Johnson Texas jersey it felt like I was at Disney World. I remember my dad waking me up at the crack of dawn to get ready for the game, I could not sleep the night before there was too much excitement knowing I was going to be able to go see The University of Texas play against Texas A&M and see Texas legend Vince Young dominate. When we arrived at DKR it was complete madness Horns and Aggies everywhere insisting their team will win the big Texas showdown but I knew in my heart Texas would win. I set a goal after that game that I would attend the University of Texas, and that goal started in elementary school I knew I had to do great to get into UT so I did and all through elementary school I was an A honor roll student. Arriving in the Westlake freshman center with my Nike backpack, Sperrys, Nike Tube socks and burnt orange UT shirt I was determined to finish strong. I was in extracurriculars such as football, and rugby and so throughout my four years I knew I was gonna learn valuable skills I could assert into my school life. That's what happen when I was a freshman I had the idea of mental toughness embedded into my head by my football coaches and I carried that over into classes, I excelled as far as I

It was a beautiful, cool July morning in the mountains of Colorado; the birds were chirping and the leaves on the trees were rustling. I could almost taste the bacon sizzling on the stovetop as my mother made breakfast. Nothing could ruin a perfect morning like this… At least that’s what I thought. Interrupting the cooking of breakfast, my mom’s cell phone strangely began to ring; there hadn’t been many people trying to contact my mom since she was on vacation. However, my mom ran to answer the call. “Oh, it’s your sister,” I heard my mom say. Although I was in a different room, I could hear the concern and worry in my mother’s voice moments after she answered the phone. Instantaneously, my heart began to race. I began feeling sick to my stomach

Facing the river, I could hear the hustle from the rows of bungalows crouched upon the long stairs behind me, along which mottled walls tumbled. I lived in an unusual part of this city; nearly abandoned after World War Ⅱ, it collected everybody from injured veterans to recently “re-educated” scholars, and recently, from pedlars to drug dealers.

A situation that best describes a time when I initiated a new venture was the decision to purchase a restaurant business. Prior to this opportunity, I had recently graduated with my first university degree and was already presented with an offer to work full-time at GE Energy where I completed my internship. As I was considering the offer, the opportunity to purchase a restaurant presented itself and aligned with my strong desire to become a successful entrepreneur.
Tyler and Sam grew up together as neighbors and have known each other since they were little kids. Tyler was older than Sam, but only by two months and twenty-nine days. Tyler and Sam did everything together, including riding bikes, homework, and even talked about what it would be like to be all grown up and married with kids of their own. They both made a pact to name their first born after one another. They did not know what would happen if the baby came out to be a girl because they were too young back then to know where babies came from.
