Becoming more organised was an aspect of my personal development which I thought most important as a basis on which to grow and develop my professional capabilities.
What I did, was first start to tidy my belongings around me. This involved filling away all my clutter into a storage system of boxes under my desk and then started on organising all my lecture and tutorial

This may have been due to shyness however from realising this sooner rather than later then I was able to do something about it before it was too late.
I started to get more involved in group tasks in tutorial by gaining a role in the group, whether this was a team leader or a researcher, I managed to do this quite easily and soon enough I was creating some great relationships with my class mates which also spread to outside the tutorials.
What I now do differently as a result of achieving this goal is become a much stronger personality around other people. I have been pleased to find class mates asking to work with me on tasks as they say they work well with me. I have now become the most involved in group tasks and often find myself becoming the team leader. This has become apparent recently when finding a house for eight of us to move into in 2nd year. I was the one who was finding all the houses to view and arranging appointments with estate agents and also organising the contracts and deposits from everyone. We have now signed for a fantastic 10 bed house which I managed to negotiate a great deal for 8 of us to move into. I am very proud of this achievement.
What I found easy was actually being a team leader once into that role as it seemed to be a role that came very easily to me and maybe this says something for future jobs prospects.
What I found difficult
2.1 Evaluate prior learning and work-related experience to identify personal strength and weaknesses in self-development.
Planning and organizing skills, I enjoy figuring out what is required in getting a job done and working out how and when it can be done. This can be seen in how I develop a personal study timetable and managing time around work and studies.
If you do not set goals or achievements for yourself then, you will not be successful in life. One major goal that I set for myself is to be elected at the ROTC program at Colts Neck High School. Unfortunately, it will not be an easy goals to achieve. It is going to a long bumpy ride until I reach my destination. However, if I study hard, complete all of my school assignments, and get antoshining grades then, I can find a shortcut to make this ride shorter and maybe even smoother after all. Also, participation is one of the main keys to achieving this goal. I make sure that I participate in class and in after school activities such as track and field and basketball because then my teachers and my coach could recommend me. This single goal persily will overall make me smarter and a hardworking student by the end of the year.
I PUT DVDS AND BOOKS IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER, THEY ARE EASIER TO FIND. I COLOR COORDINATE MY CLOTHES FOR WORK, IT TAKES ME LESS TIME TO PUT AN OUTFIT TOGETHER. THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS THAT YOU CAN RE-PURPOSE THINGS. YOU CAN USE ICE CUBE TRAYS FOR A DESK, FOR HOME OR WORK. IT WORKS GREAT FOR US, WHEN WE ARE TRYING TO SAVE TIME. MY BIGGEST THING IS, GET RID OF THINGS YOU HAVEN’T USED FOR AT LEAST A YEAR. IT’S HARD TO GET RID OF SOME STUFF, BUT IT KEEPS IT A LITTLE MORE ORGANIZED. THE CLEANER AND MORE ORGANIZED YOUR WORKSPACE, THE BETTER YOU WILL FEEL. YOUR HOME WILL BE EASIER TO CLEAN AND STAY CLEAN, I HAVE FOUND THAT OUT. THERE 'S A DISTINCTION BETWEEN ORGANIZATION AND ALSO THE MERCHANDISE YOU MAY USE TO REALIZE THAT GOAL. ORGANIZATION MAY BE A METHOD, NOT A PRODUCT. I HAVE A FEW TASKS FOR YOU, THAT YOU CAN DO IN LESS THAN TEN MINUTES. RESPOND TO OR DELETE 20 EMAILS. CLEARING OUT OLD MESSAGES, ARCHIVE ONES YOU WANT TO KEEP. FILE ONE STACK OF PAPERWORK. CHECK YOUR APPOINTMENT CALENDAR FOR THE WEEK. MAKE A TO DO LIST. YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO ALL OF THESE THINGS IN TEN MINUTES BUT, DOING SOMETHING IS BETTER THAN DOING NOTHING. USING A LABEL MAKER COMES IN HANDY, I HAVE FOUND THAT IT MAKES THINGS MORE SIMPLE. STORING MANUALS FOR SOFTWARE, PRINTER, COPIER, CALCULATOR, AND FAX MACHINES IN ONE PLACE, MAKES THEM EASY TO FIND. TRYING TO MAKE YOUR DESK AREA HEALTHIER, MAKES YOU HEALTHIER. TRY TO COMBINE PHYSICAL ACTIVITY INTO YOUR DESK AREA, IT WILL MAKE YOU MORE
Yes, I achieved those goals I want to learn. First of all, how to make someone happy when he/she is sad and how to change the gloomy environment into a happy environment. Moreover, do those things that give happiness to someone and they remind you forever. Furthermore, how to ask someone who needs help. Talk with the person in need with a polite and calm way so that he or she will ready to share their problems with you. I also learnt how to judge a person and about several customs and cultures. I built my confidence strong which helps me throughout my life. Also, enhance my mental horizon regarding working with people in the different community. I built strong speaking skills. These are the things I achieved from this experience.
I want to keep my things clean and organized so i can keep up with my stuff. I don't want to lose my bellwork week of 2-6-17 or my “Brother Sam Is Dead” reading log, my 6x6, 3x3 squares for my Pythagorean Theorem project in math or my minute 76. I constantly lose my bellwork in social studies my binder gets so full that i forget that i have my math work. Full of papers from previous quaters lessons that we dont foucus on. I honestly need to keep my binder organized so tht i can keep up with my work so i can turn it
I have made a lot of progress towards my last goal. I always had my homework done ahead of time and now it has become a habit. I planned in my planner one week ahead so I could easily see all the stuff I needed to do.
Throughout middle school and my freshmen year of high school, I was never extremely comfortable in large group projects. For most of my life, I preferred to work alone or do most of the work in group projects. There was a time, however, in my sophomore Project Lead the Way class where my teacher was explaining to us the grave importance of group work and how it translates into the real world of engineering. After the speech, we were put in groups of eight to solve simple engineering problems, and I began to push myself to interact with my unknown peers. Slowly but surely, I grew more comfortable in group scenarios and kept pushing myself forward. Looking forward to today, I am a captain of my soccer team and a constant leader in group projects
From the SuccessNavagator on the skill that I score the highest on was organization. I believe that I source high on organization was because I always write a to-do list of what homework I need to do and when I need to do it. I usually try to finish the homework three days in advance. I believe that this skill will help me reach my long-term education goal by keeping me on track and focus on the final goal.
Time is one of the most valuable resources for everyone. It should be managed properly by the managers of any organizations in order to run the organizations smoothly. And, Delegation is a process of assigning task by one person to the other. The purpose of this essay is to discuss how managers cannot function effectively without good Time Management and Delegation skills. It then discusses the benefits of time management and delegation, drawbacks of delegations and measures to improve time management and delegation skills.
All of my life I have struggled with the task of staying organized, in third grade I was that girl who had papers shoved in her locker up to her eyebrows. It was not until my junior year of high school that I was determined to shake the disorganization. Since I was involved in so many activities and had to balance a tough academic schedule, I needed away to stay on top of everything. Furthermore, I responded to this by cleaning my bedroom every day when I got home from school. It may sound strange, but having a clean room made sure my mind was ten times less cluttered. In addition to cleaning my room, I made sure my locker was spotless, kept all of my papers in binders, and went through my bag frequently to throw away any unneeded papers. Nevertheless,
One area that has really helped me in my ability to reach my goal would be academics. Throughout high school, I have taken more difficult courses in an effort to not only learn to my best ability, but to challenge myself as well. Most of my classes are AP classes and dual credit classes. This increased exertion has been well worth it; I have been able to learn in great detail which is far more advanced that my other peers who may not be enrolled in these types of classes.
Brykczynski (2014), lists The five essential skills that influence role transition as 1) personal meaning of the transition, which relates to the identity crisis experienced 2) degree of planning, which involves the time and energy devoted to anticipating the change 3)environmental barriers and support, which relate to family, peers, school, and other components 4)level of knowledge and skill, which relate to prior experience and school experiences 5) expectations, which are related to factors such as role models, literature, and media.
Setting goals has allowed has helped me to become a more successful and creative person. I’ve noticed when working on my assignments, I perform better and my grades have improved. Now that I am closer to my goals I am much happier and less stressed. Another thing I learned about goals are that they must be my own in order for them to work for me. Owning my own healthcare agency one day is one of my most important goal. Networking allowed me to get an idea of places I would like to work upon graduation. Some of the nursing homes in the area where I live would be a great place to start because it would give me a sense of direction. Visiting these places will be a critical part of my success. Preparing myself by setting goals and networking have made me a stronger candidate to enter the business
I used to believe that I did not perform very well in groups. I am an observer who likes to learn alone. I thought I learned best when I worked on my own. Even though I always knew group work had many positive values, I was more comfortable with the lecture-based approach and resisted group work merely because it involved change, not because it had a collaborative learning approach. However, during the learning community project, I came to realize that I learn more effectively when I work in groups. Working in a group was like an adventure for me; there were both exciting and challenging times while preparing for the learning community project.
