One Day Of Time Research Paper

If your teacher is really nice to you and all the sudden they are rude the next day. Well it is just because they are having a bad day. It doesn't mean they don;t care they just an’t happy at the moment. Other kids probably have got on the teachers nerves then they just got in a grumpy mood. This is what I think the next day will be a better day then the last.

Every single day I have to ride my bicycle throughout the city of Miami. The perks I would say is that it is safer for the environment by causing less pollution in the air and I get a good cardio workout every day. The negative outcome of not having a car however is that I almost get hit or what feels like killed every other hour on the street. But how the person perceives this situation is really what is at hand. I take the time every once in a while and stop near a park or by a lake and just admire nature in its vast beauty and how truly wonderful it is to be alive, most people do not see how much of a blessing it is to just wake up every single day and being healthy. Having to worry about the weather is another issue that I have to be constantly worrying about, but thankfully at the end of the day it is just a little rain, unless it is a tremendous storm which dramatically increases my chance of being killed while riding my bike.

Wooden (qtd. in Baer) states that "success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best you are capable of becoming". Many students end up taking classes that they do not necessarily need or classes that are hard for them to succeed in. The result in not being able to drop a class within the certain time period results in students receiving an W (withdrawal) on their transcript, which not only affects their overall GPA, but may even eventually lead the student to end up on academic probation. As a junior at Cosumnes River College I think it is very important that the drop date for classes to be extended to a 3-week time period because students end up taking the wrong courses, there would be no negative affect on mental health, and most importantly students would have a higher chance of success.

It was a frigid February Sunday. In the suburbs of Washington DC, the weather is like an infant, no knowing what it will do. I began my day gloomy, as I have been for the past couple of days since the day Maa passed away. I raced the sun to see who could get ready quicker, and I won. My head felt quite cool for I forgot that my hair had nearly been shaved off. I had the taste of chocolate milk in my mouth from last night, the warm mug that my aunt gave me. My next challenge was to get around this labyrinth in my room to the bathroom. Instead of rustic walls, the walls consisted of guests laid across the floor, staying at our place for today.

First realize what lies ahead of you an optimistic 7 hours or a pessimistic possibility of 10 hours. You ask your dad what it will be and he’ll say “7 hours for sure” your mom on the other hand will be navigating and will say a conservative “9 hours. How could it possibly take longer then that” You get to the car and the bickering has already started the back seats wont go down so you cant fit all the luggage. You realize every major movement of luggage or people in your family usually results in flashing tempers so you try to diffuse the situation. “Mom calm down” you’ll say and then “dad calm down” and it sounds like something out of third grade classroom each one will claim the other started it, but you just try to litigate the beginning of the drive like a court

In regards to school, most students loath just about every aspect of it. Five brutal days of tests, mind numbing lectures, and bounteous amounts of homework that they must turn in the next day, is very overwhelming to most. By the time the fifth day rolls around, some students are so fatigued that they cannot focus on the various tasks at hand. The solution-a four day week. A shortened week could help to improve overall productivity of students and save the school money. Plus the additional day off could be used to ease the minds of frazzled students.

Five days can make a big difference. In as little as five days you can cleanse your system of drug toxins no matter how hard the drug or how heavy you have used. I believe starting your morning off with quiet time has a huge impact on having a positive and peaceful day. One can choose to spend their time with yoga, reading an encouraging book, or by appreciating a divine view; they all have their own benefits. What I see has the influence on one’s day is taking the time to reflect on the now, taking the time to be grateful for the small things in life. You do not want to just rush into all the stress and demand life has to offer you that day. It is inevitable that you will encounter some sort of obstacle during your 24 hour day. I believe you can change your mindset to find value in whatever your day has waiting for you. I am a strong believer in attracting and extracting positive energy for the comfort

What is accomplishing something? To accomplish something is to achieve or to complete successfully. It is to fulfill, achieve, attain, manage, or perform. Well what can I accomplish in ten days, you ask. In ten days, I can donate canned food for the families who are short. In ten days, I can donate clothing to non-profit organizations. In ten days, I can accomplish giving away foods to soup kitchens, and winter shelters. I can help the elderly at retirement homes by showing them the proper attention. By playing board games and making them feel important since most of them can’t live on their own. I will plan to start an organization named “Something Unique”.

It was an typical day at school those ordinary days were I would go through my classes, meet with my friends, and so on continue with my day. I was somewhat content with how life was going I had good grades,a healthy relationship with my family, and I had great friends. Well it was that ordinary day when I felt betrayed by one of my closest friends. I had began to have this routine with my friend to meet with her at a certain location everyday at lunch, one day I waited for her and waited and came to a realization, well she maybe she was not at school today. Later that day I found out that she was in school inclusive she was hanging out with other girls. Friendship has always been important to me and I have always been much forgiving to many

My projected day was similar to the day that actually occurred. I slept in a little longer than I had anticipated but I was able to correct this by finishing up my chores faster. I was able to eat a breakfast, which is rare due to the time constraints and activities I have to do earlier in the day. Due to the larger amount of homework I had in the morning than I anticipated, I was unable to eat a lunch. I was hungry through the day, but I felt that my decision was the best due to the completion of my math written homework. I attended choir and then waited for my brother, his friend, and my own girlfriend to be ready to go to my house. Upon completion of this program and obtaining my RVT license, my dream job is to work in a small animal hospital. I would love to work in a small animal facility that cares for exotics as well. I am new to exotics, and seem to be extremely timid around them (especially rabbits), but I think they are wonderful and would love to learn and know more about the different species. My perfect work day would consist of challenging cases that all had successful outcomes for the patients. My day would also consist of seeing and holding puppies and kittens, because there is nothing better than this. Like others in this field, I hope I can offer the best care and comfort to all my future patients.

See what I mean, this weekend went by horribly slow. We really need to do something about a Three day weekend. Students would get more sleep. We have more time to prepare for a possible test the coming monday. We´d have more time to do homework that was maybe assigned over the weekend. We would have so much more time to spend with our friends and family. The teachers would get more time to prepare for lessons throughout the week.

Everyone in America has to go to school at one point in their life. Most students in California attend school for six hours a day.
