I am greatly honored of having the opportunity of applying to the National Honor Society. To most students, National Honor Society is just an extra tassel on graduation day, but to me, I see it as an introduction to our future. I have been looking forward to joining this prestigious organization since the beginning of freshman year. Throughout this past two scholastic years, I have admired the hard work that the students have done to help the community, and I believe that I can play a part in their hard work in this upcoming year. I trust that I am a good role model, who seeks to do her best in what she does. Over the years, I have donated to various organizations, volunteered at animal shelters, and helped in my church. Being given the opportunity
Thank you for your consideration of me as a candidate for the National Honor Society, it means a tremendous deal to me. I have worked extremely hard to earn my chance to become a member of the National Honor Society and this application resembles a small prize on the enduring path to success for me. I believe, as a member of the National Honor Society, I will be able to enhance my spirit of service and accomplish more service goals and projects. Although, I already have many leadership skills under my belt, I can only imagine the many more skills I will gain from being a member of the National Honor Society. I believe you can never stop learning.
I am honored to be among the commendable students whom are being considered to be a part of such a prestigious organization, The National Honor Society. I have been wanting to be a part of this organization the second I stepped into this school. Of course I have worked vigorously for it, there has not been one year here at Lone Star where I have not been in less than 3 Pre-AP or AP classes with averages frequently resulting in an A. I work hard everyday and night in order to ensure my success now and in the future. National Honor Society is an exceptional group brimmed with bright young men and women who create the world of tomorrow. I, Jadzia Sanchez, Class of 2017, yearn to be a part of such a group. I have been a part of theatre in both middle school and high school, I am a very active thespian and have branched out by joining acting classes outside of school.
I am deeply honored to be among the exemplary students who are being considered for the National Honor Society. I must admit that this is something that I have been looking forward to since the beginning of my high school career. I believe that this organization does great things in society and that I can play a part in furthering the impression that is made. I like to think that I deserve this honor and this chance because I have worked very hard to get here.
A good leader inspires people to better themselves. I feel I am a good candidate for the National Honor Society because I have leadership experiences in refereeing youth soccer games, volunteering in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, and taking Links, which is a class that helps students with autism in their classes. While referring children's soccer games I had to pick and choose the calls that I had to make so the kids could learn the game but also have fun playing the game. Even though some kids didn't like it, I had to be a sense of authority to them to make sure none of them got hurt when playing soccer. When I go to visit my little brother, for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, I help him with his homework, and also make it fun
The National Honor Society recognizes students who attain a high level of accomplishment in the areas of academics, character, leadership, and service. In order to be considered for membership in the National Honor Society one must not only demonstrate each of these four qualities, but excel in each.
This past year, I have been motivated to keep up my grades and work hard because of Adams' National Junior Honor Society program. I have aspired to be in the Society since I read it over the summer on the Adams website. I was so excited when I received this letter because it meant I had a chance at making the program. I want to be in NJHS because it will teach me how to manage my time, organize events, and work with others. Working with others who also value academic success contributes to my will to be in the program. Together, we can help each other grow and thrive in the community. We can also collaborate to help those in our community who aren’t in the position to speak out for themselves. I read about an NJHS group that organized an event where they donated toys to children who are less fortunate. They spoke out in school and changed the lives of many young, unhappy children through the program.
Truthfully, being a member of National Honors Society has been a dream of mine ever since I found out it existed. I strongly believe that my character, discipline, and scholarship will be great assets to this club. Thank you for considering me as a candidate, I hope to be joining you for National Honors Society next
