“I’m really in Love This Time” I’ve worked all summer to receive what I most desired. My 1999 Dodge Dakota. I have a love/hate relationship with this vehicle. Three grand got me something that I never knew I could for the amount it was worth. I never knew about this vehicle until my friend Ryan brought it up. This is not a very big truck, but it is not very small either. This 5.2l V8 gives me chills. I wake up to the sound of it in the morning, even though I wake up the whole neighborhood. My mother hates that I take it to work at 5 o’clock in the morning. She stumbles out of bet to hear a monstrous V8. I had no plans on getting one, but it was appealing to the eye as I was scrolling through Offer Up. Three grand for a truck that is as
I remember it like it happened yesterday. It was a warm sunny day on October 27 2013, and we were driving to my sister Amy’s house in Kaukauna. We had to drop off a set of bunk beds at her house for my niece Mia. My dad, mom, my sister Anna, and I were all in one car, while my two brothers, Andrew and David, were in the Ford Ranger ahead of us. We were having fun in the car, talking, laughing and listening to music, until we came up on a yield sign. My brother Andrew proceeded through it first, when a black Envoy came speeding around the corner, too fast to slow down. When Andrew saw it coming he tried to swerve, but the car was going too fast, and it was too late. The car hit the truck,
On a sunny afternoon in May of 2013 I learned a very important lesson. I was at a family auction in the small quiet town of Ames, Oklahoma. The dew was still wet on the ground and the air was crisp. There was a lot of my extended family there as well as people I had never met. I got to see my cousin Taylor as well as one of her cousins named Jadey. We decided we were going to go ride four wheelers out in the field and it was at that time I learned a valuable lesson. Four wheeler accidents happen often, but I never expected to be the one involved. Before my accident I thought four wheelers were fairly safe, but afterwards I learned that an accident can happen in a split second and you should never assume you won’t be the one involved.
During our first run Taylor and I noticed that the car was turning way to the left. So in order to fix this we started our car as far to the right of the track as possible. After our first trials we realized that we needed to fix our string. We needed to cut the string we had attached off of our car and make a new one. When we made a new one me made it a little bit longer than the car and only hot glued it to the hook, not to the frame. Our new string had a loop in the end of it so we could put that on the toothpick. So now we understood that the toothpick did have a real purpose and we couldn’t glue the string to the mousetrap. After we made these changes we ran our car three more times.
I got my dog almost one year ago. We got him on november second 2014. Me and my sister had begged our parents to get us a dog but they kept saying no. THe day that we ended up getting him my parents just said that we were going camping. They said we were going camping in a cabin a few miles from Bend Oregon.
I own a 1979 F150 XLT Ranger. Before the Ranger became a compact truck, it was full size. Mine happens to be 4 wheel drive. I love it. I have been the proud owner for 15 years. I will never sell it. It is too easy to keep runnin'. Parts are affordable, and it is EASY to work on. Any of you who own and older Ford truck know what I'm talking about. So here is my tribute lens to the Ford truck.
On 6Mar18 at 1114 hrs. I, Deputy Halbasch, was dispatched to Co Rd 18 near the lake access to Boulder Lake for a traffic accident.
The Dodge Ram, its a wonderful truck type of truck. But this is going to be specifically about the 2009 half ton Dodge Ram. This truck has a 5.7 liter V-8 Hemi. It cranks out around 390 horsepower and gets 13-18 mpg. Plus it has a car style coil spring to make the ride a lot smoother but still truck like to say the least. The Dodge Ram has 1,850 lbs. payload and can tow up to 9,100 lbs. Even though it’s not quite as much as it’s competitors; it’s still a good load. If you have kids they are going to be happy because in the back seat there is a XM Sirius TV that has the Disney channel and other cartoon channels. If you're a guy who
I've always had this love for huge trucks. And my favorite line so far? Kenworth, perhaps. That's why when a friend asked me if I can make one more review of another used Kenworth vehicle, I immediately said 'sure'.
There were two officer dispatched to the vehicle collision. The other officer talked with each party and with those that witnessed the accident. Officer Lewis took pictures, sketched the scene, and took measurements. All of the information he gathered will later go into a report he will write.
The Laramie Limited Dodge Cummins diesel is a nice truck, but it will put a hole in your wallet from paying $62,995. Some people say that’s enough money to buy a house. If you like trucks you will love this one. It’s just what you want in a truck. It has a 7 inch touch screen, radio with Bluetooth so you can play music without any wires. And you can change the station from the back seat with a remote. This truck rides like a cloud with the sunroof that will cool the driver down with the air conditioning. If the passenger gets cold it has leather heated seats. Going on a trip and need stuff put up? put it in some of the storage places in the back floor. If that's not good enough fold down the seats in the back
Purchasing my first truck has been my greatest achievement so far. Working for almost 1 year, I had the ability to save enough money, to get myself astounding 2010 Ford edge. Through the journey of this, I learned how to manage my money properly but I build the trust of my parents and co-workers. My soon to be achievement will be graduating from Lopez ECHS and attending college at TSC, for me it will be a significant circumstance tome but also my family. Being the first generation in my family to go to college, high expectation are there to fulfill. Just as my older brother has giving me an example.

I was born Dennis Laverne Horn Jr. on November 19th, 1978 in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. I was supposed to be a New Year’s baby, but decided to arrive two months early, and came in at a whopping three pounds! My mother and Father had just returned from a week long run in the semi when mom started having a stomach ache. My father likes to remind me that they had stork instead of turkey that Thanksgiving, and thus began my journey in life and who I am today.
As the wars in the Middle East continue to rage on, the European Union is beginning to face an immigrant problem. The article “Austria Finds Up to 50 Bodies Thought to Be of Migrants in a Truck” by Alison Smale from the New York Times discusses the death of 50 supposed migrants left to die by human traffickers in a truck parked on the shoulder of a highway. This event directly coincides with a conference about this immigration problem and reopens a conversation about migrants safety coming from the Middle East and the effects wars in the Middle East are having on a global scale.
Lee Brice wrote “I Drive Your Truck” for a father that had lost his son in the war saving fellow soldier. Paul Monti explains that the song is about the absence of Jared. Paul had an operation called Flags for Vets that on every Memorial Day people go put flags on the graves of the fallen soldiers. Jared's dad still drives his truck, he says it reminds him of Jared and that he likes being in there because it gives him special and peaceful feeling. Paul says that losing your kid is as if you have lost your future and that there's this kind of pain that never goes away or never heals, he continues to say that freedom isn't really free, it's paid for by the blood of the young men and women that serve.
