Throughout CORE115H I tried to come to class as prepared as possible, especially for our focused free writes. I read the assigned readings each night, but at midterm, the level that I understood them varied; therefore, my focused free writes were not all up to the best of my ability. However, during the weeks following midterm, I followed the tactic I described in my midterm evaluation. I continued to read the assigned readings when I had time, but I briefly reread them before class, this allowed the information to be more recent and I did not have to recall passages that I had read two days prior. Like I had hoped, this tactic allowed me to give more specific examples in my focused free writes and helped me to receive more twos rather than the ones that I had been receiving at midterm. As I look back at the written works that I completed for CORE155H, I believe I responded fully to all of the prompts and integrated instructor comments effectively. As I stated in my midterm evaluation, in the “Drug Crime” paper I received all of the points, followed the prompt fully, and was told that my essay was a “very good effort [that was] further enhanced by minor revisions.” For the “Sisters of Charity Heritage” paper, I did my best to answer all parts of the prompt fully as well; however, I had a harder time reaching the requirements in that essay than the “Drug Crime” paper. Even though I have not yet received feedback for my “Charity Heritage” paper, I believe I followed the instructions effectively. In my “Midterm Self Evaluation”, I believe I responded well to the questions asked and was able to give a clear, insightful, and accurate evaluation of myself. Lastly, for the “Good Life” paper I struggled in some areas to fully develop my thoughts. However, in that essay I was able to bring in personal experiences to develop some of my ideas and because of that, I believe that paper exemplified what CORE115 was all about; connecting our life to lessons we learned in class, specifically, lessons that lead us to live what we consider to be a good life.
Personally, I believe that my participation in CORE115H in large groups, small groups, and my project group was very good. I strove to understand the content and to help
At first I was not sure what I should put, but then when I starting thinking about it, it came pretty easily. However I did have a difficult time thinking about what I can’t change because I try not to focus on that.
It is still so surreal to reflect back on my first semester as an incoming college student in the ENC1101 course, analyzing at my progression as a reader and writer in literacy. Since the first day of class I set in stone my goals for this class: receive a 4.0 GPA, develop my connecting theories skills in writing, and become more aware of objectives for each Unit throughout the course. All of these goals became achievements that not only make others proud but most importantly give me self pride. In order to earn the grades and achieve these goals, I went after every opportunity that I was given as an incoming college student, such as office hours and extra credit. By taking this course I have gained confidence with the utilization of literacy, and made an addition to my group of impactful literacy sponsors. Once students are finished with high school they assume that there is nothing else to learn beyond the stereotypical five paragraph essay, but they are so wrong. I was able to obtain so much knowledge about numerous course concepts from Writing about Writing, articles, and my professor. These concepts will carry on with me throughout a bright future of writing courses, job interviews, and any other skills that require literacy. The four outcomes listed below will help illuminate how I improved as a writer, by being a driven college student and going out of the way to earn my achievements in this course. In the first outcome I improved comprehending scholar texts,
An additional dreadful, rude, disturbing experience that I frequently encounter because of this force and their perverse doctrine is my frequently dismissals from local stores. Once more you perhaps are pondering thinking What! How and what exactly entails your experience of being thrown out of stores. Precisely yet again let me recall tpo your attention that this force at all times claim that every occurence that transpires is associated with some propose, growth or fruit. However once more that as well is completely false their initial, primary intent is to disarm, control and ultimately ruins one day by causing anger, disappointment. Thus when I go into many stores they at all times are attempting to see how they can disarm and cause anger

In the amount of eight years spent towards my local 4H program, I have had one special memory that has lead me to the reason why every year I still participate in the program. It was the winter before 4H camp had begun, and I received a letter in the mail from one of my former campers. It was a letter explaining how much I had impacted her week, and her parents thank you on the role I gave as a figure for her to look up to. Having so, I recall making positive impacts to former counselors. Always, reminding them that, younger age youths will always look up to you. Making a huge impact to my college future, I serve as a role model to my niece, who as a first generation student as I am now. I plan on continuing to inspire other students who
C. The researchers analyzed the data as though it were at the interval/ratio level since they calculated means (the measure of central tendency that is appropriate only for interval/ratio level data) and standard deviations (the measure of dispersion for interval/ratio data) to describe their study variables.
I struggled with writing more on an assignment. I had to develop a longer analysis in many of my works, but for most I liked to keep it short and simple, which I have learned that that will not be enough. I struggled to find enough relevant ideas and thoughts that came from my own brain to place in my pieces. There were times when I had difficulty searching my brain for thoughts but once I developed an idea, I wrote it down.

You should be familiar with the plots of all the films we watched in class. You should also be familiar with the main ideas from The Cutting Edge documentary. Moreover, anything discussed in class in the lectures could be on exam. You will have to answer 50 multiple choice items.
During week one, my initial definition of learning was listening to an instruction, studying and then rehearsing that information in my mind, or categorizing it in a way so I could remember most of what was taught in the course. The class has opened a new dimension for me in the learning process; from understanding how I process information to deciphering which learning processes I use in intentional learning or metacognition. Understanding my learning patterns form dynamic learning relationship is a key element to my view of how and why I process the learning experience, even relating it to every day life.
1. What do the different strategies suggested and how are they related to the theories reviewed in this class (applied to the Elizabeth Arden case)? In other words, how does a contingency theory strategy differ from a VRIN strategy and differ from a game theory strategy for Elizabeth Arden? Clearly and completely articulate the differences and similarities that each of these lenses suggest?
