She answered that one of the main concerns of all teachers today is providing each of their students with the best educational program possible in order to help them reach their highest potential to become productive members of society. Yadira Sosa is a teacher in San Benito Texas. Mrs. Sosa has had the privilege to teaching for 10 years at Dr. Cash Elementary. Mrs.Sosa has been a PK teacher for the past 5 yrs. After interviewing Mrs. Sosa I have learn that being a teacher is a great challenge. Its a profession that requires many skills one must possess. The firsts thing Mrs.Sosa said was you have to love children and have patience in order to be a teacher. Patience is the number one skill a teacher must posses. Children come form different background and have different personality. As a teacher you have to find a way to work with the student to earn their respect. Another skill Mrs. Sosa mention was teamwork with the staff. Working as a team helps the student and helps

She explained positive parts about being a teacher as being able to do what you love with growing children. As children go through stages of development, it is a good feeling to see what they are going to become in the future. She explains the bond she has with her students as one of the greatest feelings in the world. In early childhood, being their first teacher can have a major impact on how well they are going to do. Being able to create a good well-educated start to education is important. She explained that she wants to be able to educate children in the best way she can because the outcome of seeing them succeed is amazing.
A fellow educator would hear these answers as examples of the teacher’s ability to engage students in every lesson, her desire for all students to succeed, and her competence in subject matter. Although an outstanding educator exudes many other characteristics, these three qualities are essential for one to be considered an outstanding, high-quality teacher.

Ms. Castrovinci when asked about how she got her start in education helped me realize how she developed a good rapport with her students while maintaining a high level of accountability. In my observation of Ms. Castrovici, she makes every effort to give her students chances to complete make up work and late work. Her strategies were consistent with her beliefs about herself. She believed that in order to make people feel comfortable you must treat them as the individuals that they are. She mentions “We may be members of different races of people, from different cultures and backgrounds, but we are all people. “ She never lets situations escalate into major problems. She had nothing but high expectations for all of her students. She never relents in her pursuit to make her students see their potential and live up to it. She is a teacher that I would thoroughly enjoy working with again. I feel that learn a great deal from her and would utilize her as a mentor in my future teaching career. Her attitude is always positive and she genuinely cares about her students which I truly admire. One of the most memorable teachers I have ever had is my fourth-grade teacher. Not only is Mrs. Lozano a great teacher but also an influence in my life. When I came to the United States, my motivation for school was not the same. I did not comprehend English and I felt like a stranger at school. However, Mrs. Lozano helped me with these struggles that I faced during my first year.
