In the 19th century The Manifest Destiny was a period in time where the new world was expanding and citizens moved so they could start a new life in land that was expanding. Good and bad experiences happened throughout the entire manifest which gave the American people the story of The Manifest Destiny.7 In the 19th century the manifest destiny was a belief that the expansion of the United States was justified and inevitable. The Great Awaking convinced many that God wanted to spread his word of the gospel by awakening them righteously and spiritualty which would convince people that the world would have peace on earth, but at the same time another cultural movement that imported from Europe which was called romanticism inspired many to strive for self-perfection. In the 1830s and 1840s an economic and social transformations helped to propel territorial expansion of the forefront of political debate. The rise of market economy and industrialization led to a hardening of class division and decreased mobilization for workingmen. Even women were begging to look for rights that ended up further challenged the traditional notions of men and women. Treaties were then created, forced and passed to try and help stop the problems, but the treaties only cause more problems because the treaties were always one-sided for the Americans. More fights broke out between the Natives and the Americans because the Natives were forced to give up their homes and lands, they were restricted to reservations that the Americans created for them.
